The apartment is on the 1st floor and was rebuilt based on the historical model in a modern wooden construction, based on the 300 year old substance. The walls were designed with clay plaster and create a pleasant climate with the wooden floor. The high room offers enough space for 4 people. There are two single beds on the sleeping gallery, the high-quality sofa bed can be converted into a comfortable bed in just a few steps. In the room there is a well-equipped kitchen cabinet with 2 hot plates, 1 sink and a refrigerator. The round table offers enough space to have breakfast or to cook a little something in the evening.

The house is located in the historic center of Kallmünz, right next to the traditional restaurant for the Golden Lion. A street with little traffic invites you to walk further into the town center. 5 minutes' walk from the apartment, there is home-brewed Zoigl beer and other Upper Palatinate specialties in the "Bürstenbinder".

Various galleries and artists can be found in the alleys of Kallmünz. The local cultural associations ensure a varied program of events on many weekends. A short hike to the Kallmünz castle ruins is not only a suitable destination for seniors and small children. Biking, hiking, horse riding, canoeing, ballooning, paragliding, fishing, playing tennis and summer stick shooting on the sports grounds of local clubs and much more is on offer.

In the village there are two supermarkets, a post office, two bakeries, a butcher and numerous excellent restaurants, beer gardens and cafes. Everything is easily accessible on foot. On Sunday mornings there is the opportunity to buy fresh baked goods for breakfast.
