About the host
Hosted by Karen Hogan or Jeff Hogan
Jeff and Karen Hogan live in Jackson, Wyoming. Jeff makes wildlife films and have chosen Silver Gate as a home-base when filming in Yellowstone.
Why they chose this property
We choose this property because of the unique character of Silver Gate. It's a town that is frozen in time. It's quiet, charming, and is a true reflection of western life in the Rockies.
Our homes are easy to access year-round; a short stroll from the ice cream shop, the Log Cabin Cafe, the town park with play structures, and a short hike right out the back door takes you to Silver Falls, the town waterfall.
Silver Gate has none of the hustle and bustle of other border towns, and we've been told Lamar Valley Cabins is one of Yellowstone's best-kept secrets.
