Ven a compartir nuestro pequeño pedazo de paraíso en la hermosa playa de Keawakapu, una de las playas más deseables en Maui, donde se puede nadar, paddle, kayak o snorkel en las cristalinas aguas del Océano Pacífico.

Relajarse en la playa con poca gente o en sillas de jardín confortables junto a la piscina con vistas al océano. Hale Hui Kai (Inicio de la Familia por el mar) ofrece el ambiente perfecto y el establecimiento de sentir bienvenido y relajado. jardines tropicales y estanques de peces se añaden al encanto de esta propiedad. Great property and location

The place was ideal for our part of four and in a wonderful location in Kihie. The host was incredibly accommodating, and the unit was very clean.

Great Location

Condo is located on a great beach good for kids and snorkeling. Beach never gets too crowded and there are plenty of options for food nearby. Condo was stocked with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for the kids which was nice.

Perfect!

Our family of 4 had our first trip to the island and had an amazing time! The condo was perfect in every way. The unit was clean and very well stocked with anything we could possibly need. Martha was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be booking another week at her condo next summer!

Wonderful

The place was clean, comfortable and had everything we could have needed. Very thoughtfully stocked kitchen, with spices and many other necessities. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella and other beach supplies also provided. The beach right in front of the building was amazing, the pool looked good too but we didn't have time to use it. Thank you!

Wander down to the beach any old time

This place is in a cool old building with chill old timers who have been coming for years. Quiet and convenient. Convenience store a couple buildings over. Very well equipped with beach supplies. Nice natural area within walking distance. On the last day we walked all the way down the beach path in the shishi side of town and felt smug.

Everything you need is here!

The host of this VRBO has made sure that this unit has everything you need while you are here. It is as if they are expecting their family and friends at any moment. The unit was very clean and comfortable with everything in excellent condition. The pool area is just steps from the beach! There is just a little bit of extra noise because this unit is near the parking lot and recycling bin. The Double Tree Hotel entrance is seen from the kitchen windows. The porch is very private and the plants completely screen the view - as shown in the picture. Everything you need for the beach is here. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils to cook a nice meal. There are plenty of towels, pillows, and extra blankets. The air conditioning is excellent. It is controlled separately in each bedroom and living area.

Wonderful location, updated condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the Hale Hui Kai complex is great if you are looking to stay in South Kihei. The beach is great for swimming and snorkling. The condo is updated and spacious and clean. Because of the lack of windows and foliage around the small balcony, the condo is dark so it's not someplace you want to hangout long but the common area is lovely and overlooks the pool and ocean with views of Molokini. The back rooms are very warm; even with the portable AC units and fans (in August) so if being hot while you are sleeping is a concern I'd look for another unit. It was well stocked with kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkling gear so you do not need to pack any of that with you wich is nice. Manager was prompt, friendly, and professional

Condo Stay In Maui

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was equipped with most of what we needed and that was helpful since we flew in from Atlanta, GA. However, there was a constant 'damp' smell in the bedrooms. It was not mold but due to the rooms getting no light whatsoever, a damp smell permeated the beadrooms and you could not get rid of it. The condo also had an extremely poor internet connection which contantly was spinning and re-connecting. Everything is viewed through the internet now; calls, TV, laptops, computers, phone - and having a good connection is critical. We could not watch any TV in the condo due to constant connection problems and it was the same with our ipads. Very frustrating. There also should be easier access to the laundry room. No information was given as to hours of operation for the laundry, how to get the access code for the laundry to work, etc.

Aloha Karla, Thank you for your feedback. We are updating the internet equipment, as we speak. This has not been mentioned to us before, so we are immediately addressing this situation. Had you brought this to our attention, during your stay, we would have gladly replaced the internet router and modem. In fact, the hours that the laundry rooms are open is posted in each of the 3 laundry rooms. The site manager does not give out the code for entry to the laundry rooms as they are unavailable other than the times posted. I agree with you regarding the damp scent in the bedrooms. This is why I encourage people to open up the windows, turn on the fans, and open up the front door in order to move air throughout the bedrooms and to give the AC a break. Prior to your arrival, I sent several pictures of the contents of the cabinets in the kitchen, condiments in the refrigerator and amenities in the linen closet, so you knew exactly what was available to you. I feel that I went above and beyond in providing you with additional information before your stay, as you were in contact with me several times. I am truly surprised by your rating, as we would have helped with ideas and solutions to each of the problems mentioned. We hoped you enjoyed Keawakapu Beach, one of the most beautiful in the state of Hawaii. A Hui Ho.

Heavenly Home on Keawakapu

I used to live in Hawaii and was going back to Hawaii 5-0 for my 50th Birthday, specifically Maui, World Whale Day Celebrations and "Whaletines Day". Maui has been a special place since I was a child and we were last on Keawakapu beach when I was 7 months pregnant with my son watching the Mama Humpbacks. I was so excited to find a home in the Hale Hui Kai and #201 was PERFECT! Our family of 3 in the "Home of the Family by the Sea" loved every moment in this space. The photos reflect the remodel perfectly. It is beautifully done and the unit has EVERYTHING I didn't want to leave during our stay... just be on the sand and in the sea, snorkeling, watching the Humpbacks off shore, walking the beach, watching the lighting of the Tiki Torches and the blowing of the Conch at sunset (just to the north), so we cooked every meal in and even my husband and young Vegan son commented on how well stocked the kitchen was. My son used the boogie board every day, and having the beach chairs, towels, coolers is fantastic. (There was snorkel gear too, but we brought our own). There is even a Bluetooth speaker that I streamed Pandora Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar through as we cooked dinner. The location is PERFECT! Being able to run back and forth from the beach and back, to morning coffee, whale watching in the lounge chairs and back, to the pool when the surf was high, to a glass of wine at dusk in the common space by the pool, to heading out at dark to look at the moon and Venus high in the sky, walk south down the beach to connect with the Wailea Beach Path, or north to the little harbor where smaller boats head to whale watch or snorkel Molokini Crater, or snorkel directly off the reef that borders Keawakapu beach... again, just perfect. Even thought this "Garden" unit is a little "darker", it is beautiful to be on the deck looking at all the green and hearing the water fountain with Kwan Yin and Buddha peaceful vibes. The deck and kitchen/dining windows bring in great tradewinds and none of the windows face anyone else, so it feels very private. LOVE this place and cannot wait to come back! Mahalo nui loa!
