Rustic camp with nice water view
This is a quirky spot with a beautiful elevated water view. The home is fully decorated with 30 years of family photos and memorabilia chronicling the construction of the camp. One negative was that someone had stayed in the house since the last cleaning. Smelly kitchen garbage of unclear age smelled up the entire house. 2 beds were slept in upon our arrival. Bathrooms and kitchen recently used. We were able to get cleaners out that day and the management company was responsive. The second issue was the neighborhood environment. This is an insular community not accustomed to renters. Many groups we met were friendly. Multiple encounters were hostile. We had an educated, calm group in town for a Mid graduation and the interactions were often cold or uncomfortable unnecessarily. I would never stay here again due to this phenomenon. This is a lovely rustic, quirky, personal family home in a lovely spot. If you are not looking for that rustic experience i would suggest other accommodations. As an aside, i never write critical reviews; However, at this price point for a rustic and somewhat uncomfortable environment, i felt obligated to share this information.

Rustic Ski/Lake Home
The house has AMAZING views and is very welcoming! It is located down a single lane road and is quite private. It is a bit rustic and is under some renovation construction but nothing that you can't live with. The stairs are a bit challenging if you are older or have any handicap. They reminded us of a lighthouse in that they are narrow and are in a spiral form. There are great hand rails though that make it easier to navigate. There is one bedroom on this floor in case someone can't navigate the stairs. The quaintness of the home really grew on us as the week went on. It is family built and exudes lots of love. The kitchen is well-equipped and we were able to create some wonderful meals each day. We also enjoyed some great meals at the Bomoseen Lodge Restaurant and Two Brothers Restaurant nearby. We skied Killington Mountain each day which was about a 50 minute drive on main roads. Overall, we had a great week and are thankful for the owners sharing their home with us.

Beautiful Lakeside Home for Family Getaway
Our family of 4 (plus our dog) loved our week long stay in this lovely home. Beebe Pond is a quiet lake and the view of the lake and the mountains with the fall foliage was stunning. Everything was exceptionally clean and the well stocked kitchen and outside grill were used almost every night. This house is lovingly laid out for everyone to enjoy all this setting has to offer - mostly the abundant light streaming through the floor to ceiling windows in the great room. The deck is amazing for morning coffee, afternoon yoga and at night we could see the shooting stars! The beds and linens were warm and comfortable and the clean bathrooms stocked with plenty of towels. The WiFi was good and Bluetooth tuner and speakers kept our group happy with the relaxing music of autumn. This home is full of love and character that one will notice at every turn. The location is convenient to all the hiking Vermont has to offer and the lake, even in the cool autumn, was perfect for paddle boarding, and we were able to play pickle ball at the near by tennis courts. We will stay here again and hope to make it one of our family traditions!
