Great location and weekend getaway

  • 4 of 5

We had 5 friends get together for a wine tour weekend and this place is right in the middle of everything.

Big backyard with lots of room and a firepit, they will provide firewood if you ask.

The location 1/2 way between Penn Yan and Hammondsport was great. Make sure to check out

Olney's place nearby and the Switz was great for dinner and drinks.

Mary and her family were welcoming and always available if something came up.

Fun, cozy and relaxing!

  • 4 of 5

If you are looking for a cozy relaxing place to stay this is it! The pictures do not do this little cabin justice. There is a great common room and three bedrooms with huge beds. We fit seven women comfortably. The best part was the amazing yard and privacy. We had a woman's weekend here. It is remote and has no tv which we all loved. Mary was so easy to work with while booking and supplied us our fire pit wood. All linens and such were supplied which was nice. I highly reccomend this cabin.

Loved it!!!

  • 4 of 5

I rented this place to get a goup of friends together for my birthday, we're all recent college grads who moved back home with our parents so we wanted somewhere we could get together and have a good time. This place was affordable and adorable. So cute and had just enough to be everything you needed. We only stayed for one night but I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything worked well and the place was very clean and the owners were nothing but kind. My only critique would have to be that when looking on the website it says privacy but there is houses on the whole road. We didn't really need much privacy but I was hoping we didn't disturb anyone or weren't too loud. We didn't get any complaints so I'm guessing we were okay! The cabin says it sleeps six but there were 8 of us and we brought an air mattress and there was plenty of room for another air matress. It was about a ten minute drive to town but it was absolutely perfect for what we needed, I will definitely be renting again in the future. Thank you so much!

Peaceful, Enjoyable and scenic

  • 5 of 5

This Cabin is exactly as described- cozy and rustic.

Nestled right next to the owners farm , this cabin was the perfect spot for my family to stay while visiting the lake and vineyards.

2 min "up the hill" from Keuka lake, 10 min to the town of Penn Yann, surrounded by the beautiful farmland that is maintained by the Mennonite folks who live around here.

The cabin does not have TV or internet-- THANK GOODNESS. So this vacation was a REAL vacation

There are 2 cabins, and while there is a row of pine trees separating them, if your "next door neighbors" decide to have a bonfire and be loud until midnight you will hear them. I made the owners aware and we did not hear any noise for the rest of our trip.

The owners also were good enough to provide us with all the fresh, just picked from their fields, vegetables that we wanted!!

We hope to be back one day-
