All-Season Beach House Castle Rock Lake - Larry's Lodge

Enjoy a FUN-filled escape in our home set on a 5-acre sand surrounded lake (Beach Lake) with your own private beach! Wake up to the sunrise glistening off the water or watch the gorgeous sunset over the lake around a smoke-less firepit on the patio. Just minutes from Castle Rock Lake (½ a mile from the nearest boat launch), close to great dining options such as Pine Cove Bar & Grill (mmm, smash burgers!), Dirty Turtle Bar & Marina (new tiki bar!), and Shipwreck Bay (gorgeous lake views) or stay in and grill on a charcoal grill. Plus, endless activities to enjoy throughout the year - swimming, boating, hiking, fishing, hunting, ATV/UTV trail riding, golfing, horseback riding, snowmobiling and do not forget, just relaxing.
Book a long weekend, a week, or even a month with your family & friends! Our home, also known as Larry’s Lodge, was built as our 2nd home and we want it to feel the same for you! Larry’s can sleep 12 comfortably, but 14 in total – including a queen-size pull-out sofa, all bedrooms have a view of the lake and with three full bathrooms there’s no waiting in line to take a shower! A pack n’ play, various kids’ toys and crafts are kept at the house, so you do not have to tote yours along. On chilly evenings, gather around the stone fireplace on the main level - turned on with just the flip of a switch. And, if you really need to work, there is a workstation available with a monitor!
What can you do at Larry’s Lodge?
Outdoor Activities:
In the warmer months, enjoy swimming, sand/beach toys, catch & release fishing (bring your poles!), full bag set including scoreboard & drink holders, Bottle Bash, yard Yahtzee, and jumbo Jenga. Outdoor toys are located in the garage.
In the colder months, watch the autumn colors come to life and the lake freeze over where you can enjoy ice skating or even perhaps a friendly ice hockey game! Ice fishing and ATV/UTV/snowmobiles are not permitted on Beach Lake per the HOA.
And of course, cap off your evening huddled around the outdoor fire pit for s’mores and convo, when the weather permits!
Indoor Activities:
Endless games and puzzles for all ages, including a foosball table! Two 55” Smart TVs in the main living areas plus a 40” Smart TV in the Master Bedroom for you to stream your favorite apps or for gaming enthusiasts, feel free to hook up your gaming device(s)! Various toys, books, and crafts for younger kids, including a table & chairs and reading nook.

Public boat launch onto Castle Rock Lake (1/2 a mile from our driveway!), boat/wave runner/jet ski rentals, water slides/parks (Wisconsin Dells), golf courses (Castle Rock Golf Course, Spring Valley, Northern Bay, and Lake Arrowhead), biking, canoeing/kayaking, rock climbing, horseback riding and don’t forget fishing on Castle Rock Lake full of Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Sturgeon and Catfish.
Fall/Winter >>>
Endless hiking trails, public hunting land, ATV/UTV/snowmobile trails, hayrides, snow shoeing (free rentals through Buckhorn State Park), ice fishing, sleigh rides, snowboarding/skiing/tubing (Christmas Mountain), cross-country skiing, and of course, sledding (few sleds kept at the house).
