This was a great house. We have family in the area and will look up this house again in the future. My only critique is that the kitchen needs better cooking tools such as measuring cups, spoons, and whisks. My kids loved the animals and the game roo.!
This property was perfect for my family’s visit. We had 17 in our party 6 years old to 88 years old. The house had plenty of room for separation and was very comfortable, especially during the 90 degree extreme heat days. We loved the location, peaceful and quiet, in the Amish farm country side. The grounds were nicely maintained. Many thanks to our host. Definitely would book again!
Stayed with my daughters and sisters for a girls weekend getaway. This home was so beautiful and comfortable. We had a wonderful time. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great experience all around, beautiful place, awesome space, everything we needed! and the listing people were super friendly and attentive as well. thanks for everything!
We stayed at the Dutch Country Acres over the Spring Break with our children and grandchildren. There were 13 of us in all, and we had a wonderful time!
The house was very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, with hilly farmland all around the area.
We would certainly stay at the Dutch Country Acres again if we return to Lancaster. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!
Hi John,
We truly enjoyed the beautiful home. It was definitely a home away from home. It was clean and much bigger than we imagined. Thank you so much for accommodating a last minute guest free of charge. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Pennsylvania!
God bless you!

Spotless, Spacious, and Comfortable
This a really nice home on a beautiful property. The grounds are green and gorgeous. We really enjoyed. I would have given 5 stars, but the description of the bedrooms on the website is inaccurate and there are less bedrooms than listed. But, we managed to work it out!

Ants!
There was food left on counter from previous stay and we had to solve an ant problem after a 14 hour drive. Other than that it was a good weekend. We loved the outdoor spaces. The home description is a little deceiving but it worked for us.

Overall the stay was great, very spacious house. We had a HUGH problem though with ants. You even had them crawling on you if you sat on the couch. Don’t get me wrong I’m not a clean freak or a decoratorBut I took pictures of the filters & vents on the ceiling and they need ALOT of attention.Last night( Saturday) after we went to bed the smoke detector on the shelf went off then the one in the in-law suite started beeping probably needs new batteries. We have stayed in other houses before and I would think families reserving would have a basket ( or something) of new items to use.For instance, in the kitchen all those old sponges underneath the sink, I would not have us one of those at all. I feel those things should be thrown out when people leave. It doesn’t cost much to buy a sponge scrubby. I realize it sounds like I’m really complaining. The rug in the Inlaw suite bathroom needs to be washed or replaced. I don’t want you to think I am really complaining I’m not I just think sometimes people don’t realize what’s in other people’s thoughts and eyes. I am sending you a family picture. I’m also sending a couple pictures of those vents in the ceiling. Hopefully, they can be cleaned and taken care of.
View of property upon arrival was so picturesque!
Very clean and well furnished- all felt fresh and new. Huge dining table and chairs (extra leaf in closet) and a large screen smart TV in living rm. Beds were all comfortable and the children enjoyed the bunk room and ping pong in the basement. Enjoyed playing catch and frisbee, and also the fire pit in the huge yard. Negative-hard to reach host.
4 private bdms (incl bunkroom, & 3 1/2 bathrooms)
Upstairs:
Bdrm #1 The "bunk room" sleeps 7 people, esp kids. 3 sets of bunks, one has a double bed on the bottom.
Bdrm #2 This "Bedroom" has two sleeping areas. You enter the first room though a door off the upstairs hallway. There is a double bed in there, and then a short hallway which leads to the spacious second room with a queen bed and ensuite bath. We added our air mattress and used this double room as a "family bedroom." I counted these 2 spaces "1 private bedroom" since there is no door between them, and you have to walk through one to get to the other.
Bdrm #3 The third upstairs bedroom has a full sized bed. The couple in here shared the hall bathroom w/the bunk room kids.
Downstairs:
Bdrm #4- 1st floor in-law suite! Private Bedroom, hide-a-bed couch in living area, full kitchen (no dishes). Full bath w/bdrm and lvngrm access.
Overflow -room off the kitchen has No doors (noisy), but has twin bed w/trundle, and 1/2 bath.
So, depending on your groups make-up, could technically sleep 17.
Highly recommend!

Thank you for your lovely review! We hope to welcome you back for more memorable moments in the future!
This is a very nice property and for the most part, it is well-equipped. However, there is no kitchen table in the main house despite there being a very large kitchen. There are no pots and pans in the Mother-in-law suite.
There are 3 private bedrooms, the others are a bunk room, a very small bedroom that you must walk through to get to the master, a third room with a trundle bed off the kitchen that has no doors, and a pull-out sofa in the Mother in law apartment. This would be a great house for young families with children who can share sleeping spaces.
We rented the home because the listing said it had 10 bedrooms and slept 17. When we realized the error in the listing it was too late to find anything else for Thanksgiving, so we made it work. The realtor did offer full reimbursement and said there had been a glitch in the original listing information.
