i enjoyed our stay

it’s a good quiet place with access to highway and main roads. driveway is a little tight for SUV but it’ll fit it and more cars. good stay overall

Draft Weekend 2024

Property was great, host was very informative, check in and out was a breeze. Close to downtown detroit, neighborhood seemed safe. Only downside was common area bed description. Couch was not a pullout. Highly recommend!!!!!

This house is policed I was at work she called and sad that it was her camera was moved tm

Horrible this house has camera and cold and the hot water low the house was cleaned she waits a week to try and charge my card I already let my bank know that so they closed my account worst experience cause she called the police about a camera I wasn’t even checked in yet be careful this property it a scam!!! Either you got the wrong person or y’all money hungry this lady is full of shhhh!!!

Unacceptable last minute changes to our 9 day reservation

I messaged this host 2 days before check-in to confirm our stay and ask about when the information for our check-in would be sent. She was quick to respond and answered my questions. Check-in information would be sent 2 hours before the set check-in time of 4pm. As stated, the check-in message arrived and gave the code for the door locks. Then the next message arrived informing me that the address I booked (this listing) was now unavailable. Her son got married and he and his wife moved into the property. What? I just messaged the host 48hrs before and nothing was mentioned. How is that acceptable? What am I supposed to do while traveling down the Interstate with my child? This wasn't a quick weekend away that I planned, my booking was for 9 DAYS for my daughter to compete in Youth Nationals! We couldn't miss it. I requested the rental link for the new property to be sent to me and stated that I would let her know if the property was acceptable after I arrived because, again, it was less than 2 hours before check-in and I'm traveling down the Interstate with my child. Ultimately, the property we stayed in was fine (not this property). Nothing great, but also nothing alarming. My issue is with the host thinking that it is acceptable to make changes like this to someone at the last minute. If I could have cancelled my reservation, I would have.

So sorry for Lin’s experience! My son and his wife planned on moving to the south after they got married. But they failed finding good jobs in the south then decided to move back to stay at this house. I had to switch Lin’s reservation to another gorgeous house near the original one.

New place, very clean, nice handyman

Everything was clean. The beds were all comfy, the instructions were all clear (though it would be better if there were all together, in a binder, rather than sticky notes throughout the place). This is a cute little place. Only one strangely laid out bathroom, but 3 full bedrooms. Alexa was a lot of fun to play with. I hope I didn't mess it up when I disconnected her from my account. Overall, this was a great stay and I would stay here again. I took off one star for the following issues: The sofa is not comfy. The main carpet in the living room has some wrinkles and refuses to lie flat, so if you require a walker or cane, or tend to trip easily; this may not be the place for you. Also, there's only street parking on one side of the street (not the side this place is on). There's a video camera on the front porch and above the back gate. (These are all things I wish I'd known beforehand.) There were a few lights not working when we got there. The handyman came and managed to fix the only one we weren't wanting to use. He promised to return and fix the rest... After our stay. The owner was prompt with her responses and addressed the issues we expressed to her quickly.

We love traveling, exercise, arts, music, literature, good food, wine and good people. Especially, we loved to stay other hosts’ Airbnbs. We bet you guys definitely will love our Airbnbs as well!
I am a Realtor, writer and poet. I was a lawyer for more than 10 years in China and I have been a Realtor in Michigan for many years.
After I visited Montenegro in the spring of 2021, I like this beautiful country a lot. Then I bought 4 fabulous vacation homes with amazing sea view, mountain view, pool, sauna, steaming, hot tub, water cave, gym, BBQ. My family and myself really enjoyed to stay at these amazing vacation homes. Can’t wait to share these with you guys!
After I immigrated to the USA, I wrote 2 books in Chinese language during my leisure time. One is “Cinderella’s American Dream” and the other one is “Look at the United States from Zero Distance”. They have been published in China in the summer of 2020. I am writing my third book: From A Poor Remote Mountain Village Girl To An American Millionaire in English and In Chinese.
Joey is my Superman & Superhero! He is very smart, working hard and handy. He can do everything and fix everything very well. And he joined USA Army 38 years ago. He fought against Taliban in Afghanistan in 2003 and 2011. He is still in Army Reserves.
Henry is a very nice smart young man. He is eager to do something well.

Walking distance to Wildwood Park. Only several minutes away to top rated restaurants, shops and grocery stores including Costco, Kroger, 168 Asian Market, HMart and Chinese Market. You may take around 14 minutes to Great Lakes Crossing outlets, the biggest indoors outlets of Michigan. 30 minutes to Detroit International Airport.
Convenient to most of towns or cities in Metro Detroit Area including Ferndale, Royal Oak, Oak Park, Southfield, Hazel Park, Troy, Plymouth, Livonia, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Bloomfield Hills, Berkley, West Bloomfield, BirminhRochester, Rochester Hills, Sterling Heights, Shelby, Clinton, Warren, St Clair Shores and more....
Long drivingway parking is free for our guests.
