The house is located in a quiet and green residential area with stunning views of Lake Lucerne. From the house there are many hiking and biking trails. Here you can enjoy the tranquility, pets are welcome after registration. In 30 minutes by car various cable cars can be reached.
A bus station is in the immediate vicinity, parking is available for free in front of the house. The city of Lucerne can be reached in a short time by bus or car. It takes about 25 minutes by bus and 10-15 minutes by car.

Luzern visit

Location was good with bus stop just down the street. We rode the bus into town which was nice. Enjoyed the view from the sitting area in the backyard.

This is a Hidden Gem

I don't think listing does justice to how perfect the location is of this property. Its 15 minutes from downtown Lucerne, 4 to 10 minites from serveral Coop stores and 12 minutes from other fast food places, 5 minutes from a nice sit down restaurant and I could go on. Jobst and Sabrina are wonderful people and were amazing in every step of the way. They both checked up on us and made sure we had a great stay. They provided a little booklet with all the instructions and places to go and eat but very relatable, short and helpful. The views from the property are incredible. Right outside of livingroom you can see Mount Rigi. The backyard is also pretty. There is a small park right across the street and it was delight for my children. The bus stop is right there maybe 1 minute walk from front door. We had rented a car and just parked outside on the street and it was not a hassle at all. This is a truly hidden gem and definitely under marketed.

Home Away From Home

Fabulous location overlooking Lake Lucerne & the mountains. Very close to the city of Lucerne & within east reach of shops in Meggen. Access to excellent walks minutes from the property. Very clean & well-equipped kitchen & Laundry facilities with three great sized bedrooms & a fourth double bed available as well. Two lovely family bathrooms. Extremely comfortable. Couldn’t find any faults. We had a wonderful stay & hosts were very accommodating.

Tolles Ferienhaus in guter Lage

Wir hatten eine schöne Urlaubswoche als Familie mit 2 Hunden. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan und sind sehr freundlich. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft. Wir können es sehr empfehlen.

World Hockey Championships U18 for Team Canada

We stayed at the property for the hockey tournament in Zug. The property was beyond what like the pictures showed and had everything we needed and wanted. Very clean- beautiful views and a perfect spot! Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Beyond words

Everything from booking to leaving was perfect. The host was always checking in to see if we needed anything and was very helpful with suggestions on things to see and places to eat.

Beautiful views great location

We really enjoyed our stay in Meggen, great location for lots of family friendly hikes and access to lake swimming. The house was good the owners were very helpful letting us check in abit early which was very kind. One thing to note the 3rd bedroom was in the basement which we didn't realise, and coming from Australia where basements aren't common, none of us felt comfortable sleeping down there, but there was an extra bed on the landing upstairs which was very comfy so we all had our own space as planned which was good. Very sad to leave after a lovely stay!

Family Trip

Perfect house for our family trip, clean, great location with wonderful view from the back patio/yard. Easy walking trails and grocery stores near by. Lucerne downtown 10mins by auto.

Tolles Ferienhaus in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir verbrachten zu fünft ein wunderschönes, verlängertes Wochenende in diesem idealen Feriendomizil. Die Terrasse bietet eine einmalige Kulisse, das Haus ist super sauber und sehr durchdacht eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts, es gibt auch ein Starterset an Lebensmitteln ( z. B. Tee, Kaffee, Zucker, Essig, Öl...) Das Haus ist sehr gut geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu Highlights am See und in die Umgebung, nicht zu vergessen sind diverse idyllische Badeplätze. Da wir fünf Räder dabei hatten, haben Sabrina und Jobst uns spontan eine Garage zur Verfügung gestellt. Danke nochmal dafür. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Everything as advertised

The property was very clean, a short drive to Lucerne, and the view was beautiful. Plenty of space; family of four, and was set up well if traveling with infants; changing table, child gate. The photos are accurate; no surprises.

Beautiful views in a clean, comfortable, and convenient house

Amazing views from the back of the house! Very clean, everything we needed for our stay. Convenient, short bus ride into Luzern. Great hiking in the area. Highly recommend for a stay in the Luzern area.

Familienfreundliche Unterkunft in schöner Umgebung

Die Gastgeber waren toll und unkompliziert und in der Unterkunft war alles vorhanden, was man sich wünschen kann. Tolle Küche und Bäder und eine schöne Terasse mit Blick auf den See und Spielplatz. Die Wanderwege starten vor der Haustür in beiden Richtungen und gerade mit Hunden war es ein Traum die schöne Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir können dieses Objekt von Herzen empfehlen und hatten eine tolle Zeit !

We had a wonderful time. Conveniently located to Lake Lucerne and surrounding areas.

The host was wonderful. Very helpful with questions and responded timely with answers. Went above expectations and helped us with touristy questions. Enjoyed meeting him. Such a delightful individual.

Hilfsbereite Vermieter, DHH wie beschrieben und bebildert, Komplett ausgestattet. Liegt direkt an (Rad)Wanderwegen, nach hinten und oben versetzt von einer auch durch Stadtbusse benutzten Straße. Für geübte Radfahrer unglaubliche Möglichkeiten, unter anderem in ca 15 Minuten zu einer tollen „Badi“ und in 30 Minuten nach Luzern und Küssnacht. Super Aussicht von den nach SSO gelegenen WZ, beiden SZ und der Terrasse. Hat uns nicht gestört: Ein komplettes BZ im UG und man kann Besuch von Katzen bekommen.

Viel Platz in komfortabler DHH

Wir haben hier fünf erholsame Tage verbracht. Lage ist für Ausflüge in viele Richtungen gut. Strasse unterhalb vom Haus einzige Geräuschquelle. Bett #3 steht quasi im Flurbereich & ist recht offen. Küchenausstattung top inkl. basic Lebensmittel zur freien Verfügung. Sehr freundliche, unaufdringliche Vermieter.
