This cabin will take you away from it all! Get that UP NORTH experience in this 2 bedroom / 1 sleeper sofa cabin. Located on beautiful Chute Pond! Experience gorgeous views of the lake and stunning sunsets on the two story deck. Fish off the private pier or just watch the boats go by. Take to the lake on the canoe, single kayak or row boat ALL INCLUDED!!! Or bring your own boat with boat launch near by. Chute Pond is a 421 acre recreational lake with maximum depth of 19'. Bring your ATVs as this cabin is located on the trails of Northern Wisconsin! Cabin has fully stocked kitchen, Roku TV, WIFI, window air conditioner, charcoal outdoor grill, canoe, row boat, single kayak, fire pit, outdoor seating and a great place to unwind! Bring your own bedding and towels (full size beds / queen sleeper).

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay. The view is gorgeous, the house is clean and dry. We were comfortable and had a great time here. Highly recommend. Darcy was very helpful.

Wonderful Lake Getaway

Enjoyed our time at this lovely cabin for the second year in a row. Extremely responsive host and all the amenities we could need were included. South Shore Pub and Grille is conveniently located right across the road as well. Great family getaway on Chute Pond!

Great cabin!

This is the cabin that we plan on staying at again. Darcy was quick to reply to my questions. We used the row boat everyday to go out fishing. Kayaking on Chute Pond is serene. South Shore Pub & Grille right across the street is a great place to eat at too!

Perfect getaway on the lake!

This was the perfect setting for our family of 4 on a lake that we've been visiting for the past few years. Very spacious cabin with a large yard. Good fishing off the dock. Right across the street from the South Shore Pub and Grill which we enjoyed more than one meal at and were very pleased with the food and service! Will definitely be back!

Just what we were looking for.

Clean, quiet and just the right atmosphere. Property had just what we needed and expected. South Shore food and drinks were great and it was right across the street. Love the area and the property. Owners/managers were accurate and timley with instructions and we had no issues. We would rent this property again.

Home Away From Home

Loved the location of being on the lake. The home had so much character, it felt very warm and inviting, I miss it already. Neighbors were friendly and quiet. The view was amazing from the balcony. I really enjoyed it with my morning coffee. Very clean and welcoming. I'll defintely go back again. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Relaxing Trip

When we first pulled up to residence we felt that it was going to be too populated. Actually their were few people home for the week. It was very relaxing. Enjoyed the kayaking and fishing. Road straight to the ORV trails. Had a great week. Rental was fully equipped.

July 4th family vacay

Great location. Especially for July 4th weekend - if you like fireworks & music. The resort across the water gave a spectacular show the Sunday before the fourth. Sat & Sunday were loud, but fun. After the weekend it was very quiet & lovely. The place was good. The sleeper sofa needs improvment or, a very nice topper. The manager was helpful. We did not have room to bring paddle boards, but if you can- do!

We have replaced the mattress with a brand new memory foam mattress added support brace as well as new pillow top cover.

Water very weedy, no fishing from dock

There was not a lot to do as we went up there to fish from the dock and it was so weedy our lines kept getting caught. The only boat offered was a row boat that was locked up on shore and it was very heavy. It is a beautiful area, it just got boring after a few days as we could not fish or swim.

Thank you for your review. The weeds this year are unusually thick. The lake never totally froze over so the weeds were not totally killed off. That is why it is unusually weedy. The beach is still a good place to swim

Heavenly Views

This was one of the best VRBO that we have had in the last 10 years. Everything was handled very Professionally. The only drawback that we had was that the water in the pond was a bit muddy. Rowboat, Canoe and Kayak were all available for our use. We would have loved to use the Pontoon and would have gladly paid extra for it. Wonderful South Shore Pub and Grub right across the street made it even better. Darcy was quick on the ball to answer all our questions. One of our Pups went into heat the night before we left which made clean up a bit of a challenge and was our fault.

Cabin on the water

Very relaxing, owners offer a kayak and a canoe. We brought our own kayaks. Its a very nice lake for kayaking a little weedy, but we liked the little islands and ther is a sand bar you can swim at off the island to the right of thr cottage. Our only complaint was in the notes left by the owner is we were to take a garbage along. I texted Darcy and he said it was ok to leave and they would take care of it. Thank goodness. Theres a very friendly and cute pub across the road. We stopped had a sandwich, prime rib it was very good.
