The first floor has an open floor plan with room dividing curtains separating the sleeping areas which include a queen-size bed and full-size bed. The first floor has a full bathroom with a bathtub and shower.
The upstairs is open with a booking of 4 guests or more and has two queen size beds, a bathroom with shower.
The front entry is at ground level, and the back entry has a patio door with a deck.
The upstairs has two accesses (indoor and outdoor).

We had a great stay here! It’s a convenient location and close by to many places to eat or shop. The beds are all out in the open (curtains to close off the beds) but this wasn’t an issue for us at all. Plenty of space and everything was clean.

We stayed in Alexandria on what was probably the hottest week of the summer. The AC worked great, the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the small deck at the back of the house. I highly would highly recommend this location for anyone visiting Alexandria.

9/10- The house was clean, cozy, & perfectly set up for my family traveling with my mother-in-law. The 1 point is for the short showers due to some hot water issues, but I would still rent this place again. The host is quick to respond & the neighborhood was so nice & convenient.

Thanks Kate! I’m surprised to learn of any need to take short showers due to hot water issues. The hot water heater is very large, but with 2 showers, dishes to wash, and laundry, maybe the heater runs low. Thanks again! David

Why they chose this property

This property is centrally located in the center of Alexandria. Downtown and Main Street are just blocks away. Lakes, accesses, and beaches are close by. Grocery stores, shopping and dining are many to choose from. The home itself has been recently renovated and therefore is extremely clean. High-speed internet, outfitted kitchen, washer and dryer, are just a few of the amenities included.

What makes this property unique

The Cabin in the City is within one block from Noonan Park, a wooded area with a playhouse, playground, meant for picnicking, with flower beds and a duck pond that also serves for ice skating and hockey during the winter.
