Thank you for sharing your home with us! Gorgeous yard with a beautiful porch that we enjoyed thoroughly in the morning for coffee then in the evening! The outdoor shower was fabulous! The home is in a fantastic location!!! We walked to the beach, Oak Bluff , and Vineyard Haven! Perfect week and it family absolutely loved it!!!

Cute House

Pros: Cute house, great location. Close to everything and convenient to get around, without being in the middle of town. Great yard, nice deck areas. Gorgeous kitchen. Bedrooms were comfortable. In a previous review someone mentioned cameras everywhere, and that wasn’t true, although there were speakers everywhere with remotes to control the sound system. Having a washer and dryer in the house was very convenient. Cons: Having dressers put inside the closets in the smaller bedrooms made it impossible to hang adult-sized clothing. There is adequate room for the dressers in each room without having to do this. The mattresses have plastic covers under the bottom sheets which was uncomfortable. One bedroom had a bunch of linen fabric rolled up and stuck in a drawer; we later figured those must have been the living room curtains. There are three bedrooms but only one blanket and one down comforter. The comforter cover was also rolled up and stuck on the closet shelf. A blanket and/or comforter for each room would have made better sense and been more comfortable. The couch covers were badly stained and needed a good washing. We couldn’t figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace, flipping the switch wasn’t the answer. The long entry code for the door lock was quite frustrating and required multiple tries. The fridge had a water leak. Finally, there was an electrical short in the circuit that controls the lighting over the sink and counter area, as well as the microwave, and the outlets for the toaster and blender. I would recommend a grab bar for the shower, and bringing a non-slip tub mat with you if you can. In spite of those things, I would definitely stay there again. Vacasa was great about checking in with us about our stay, and very responsive. Everything that was a con about the house is easily fixable, and I hope they do. They offered to send someone out the next day but we were in and out so much and the issues with livable enough that we didn’t want to have to wait on our plans for someone to come out while we were staying there—our choice.
