Why Property Manager chose Carpinteria
We've been vacationing in beautiful Carpinteria for many years. We take great pride in making our 'beach getaway' comfortable and relaxing, and hope our guests enjoy the same experience.
What makes this Condo unique
Carpinteria really is a wonderful unspoiled small town. It has a warm feel that makes you relax as soon as you arrive. We love that we can walk to everything. The beach is just steps from our condo and we enjoy walking onto the sand for an early morning jog or evening sunset walk. Excellent restaurants are just a couple blocks away and shopping is also close by. There are many places to hike, bike, and enjoy all the natural beauty Carpinteria has to offer.

Carpinteria is the best!
The beach and main street is within walking distance, which is perfect if you want to experience a more relaxing vacation in a sweet small town and get more exercise into your daily living. The location is easily accessible and parking is secluded and covered. The property is very clean and is kept up well. They have almost everything you could need which is such a relief not having to go to the store and picking up a fortune worth of necessities. There are tons of things to do and places to go to in Carpinteria for both adults and families, you're going to need a few days to do it all. I came during the annual Avocado Festival which was probably the most fun I had in a long time! Rows of booth vendors line main street with fun shopping, delicious food, and live music. Plus people there were so friendly! Especially those we met who reside in the same complex. I'm so glad I went, and I would definitely come again. :)
Great place to stay in Carpenteria
The condo is 2 blocks from the beach. We parked our car in the covered carport and never had to use it again until we left. Everything is within walking distance. Fantastic restaurants and supermarket shopping. Everything you will need is waiting for you in the condo. Beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc. Even a great barbecue just downstairs. Nothing bad to say about this place. You will have a great time and want to come back again.
Can't beat this location - will definitely be back!
Old interior, uncomfortable bed and furniture. Dirty complex
The complex is run down and dirty. The unit has wall to wall carpeting that needs replacement and everything needs updating. Bed was very uncomfortable and couch hurts to sit on. Pool was closed down during our stay which was the main reason we booked there. Location is only positive. If it wasn't so close to the beach it would have been a complete bust! Owner does provide a ton of beach toys so that was appreciated!
We’re so sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay. These types of comments are very uncommon to hear, and were an unpleasant surprise when we read your review. Our condo complex, La Cabaña, was at the tail end of a huge upgrade project, replacing all stairways, railings, and walkways. The work took longer than expected, and made a mess, but the grounds are now back to their normal clean and beautiful condition. The pool closure was unplanned and was needed to fix a safety issue. We do supply a quality memory foam mattress topper for the sofa bed, which our guests have spoken highly of. We take great pride in our beach home and would have immediately taken action to try to remedy the issues you experienced if we had known. When we called after check in to make sure all was well, we did not hear of any problems. We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the beach and the sand toys we left for you. We hope you will someday give us another chance at providing you with a great location for your beach vacation.

I would rent again and/or recommend to family and/or friends visiting.
Much needed relaxation
A perfect trip. Thank you for making my vacation the relaxing and rejuvenating experience I much needed. The condo is so cozy and comfortable. My kids loved all the beach toys. We loved the beach, park, and quaint restaurants. We will definitely be back next year.
Lush, tree-lined Linden Avenue, Carpinteria’s main street to the beach, is one of the most charming downtown streets in all of California. A lovely backdrop for the weekly farmers market, it's also host to larger events such as the annual Avocado Festival each October as well as the wonderful old American car show, Rods and Roses, held every June. Everything you need is within walking distance; beach, grocery, movie theater, spa, fitness studio, city pool, skate park, art gallery, restaurants, and shops. The exciting dining options vary from Italian to Thai, vegan to steak house, Japanese to Mexican, seafood to beach burger, wine bar to micro brewery, shaved ice to baked goods and candy. Carpinteria also offers a local electric shuttle that, for a 25 cent fare, will take you along the beach and all of the major shopping areas in town. The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner offers five trains a day coming into Santa Barbara from the south with stops at Carpinteria’s wonderful little train depot. Rated as one of America's top 20 beaches, Carpinteria’s sandy stretch of oceanfront offers miles of gorgeous beach for swimming, surfing, fishing, tide pool exploring and camping. Harbor seals and dolphins can be seen, as well as an occasional gray whale. Tide pools contain starfish, sea anemones, crabs, snails, octopuses and sea urchins. This long stretch of sand is known as one of the world’s safest beaches, the gradual incline producing little or no rip currents. Boogie board and inner tube rentals, combined with a large green park, sand volleyball courts and picnic areas make this a popular locals spot on the weekends. Heading northwest along the beach you will discover a local surf spot and kayaking area, plus the Carpinteria Salt Marsh Nature Park. These 110 acres of prime ocean front land provide sanctuary for close to 200 bird species, including many endangered species. The Tar Pits Park is one of the real treasures of the Carpinteria Parks Department. Many locals don't even know about it. There are wonderful walking trails, vegetation restored as close to its natural state as possible, spectacular views and a real sense of privacy. You can usually see seals and sometimes dolphins in the water. The birds are numerous and varied. Early explorers observed Chumash Indians building their large ocean-going canoes, called tomols, along these banks. You can still see the natural asphaltum oozing from the rocks. The Carpinteria Bluffs are 52 acres of beautiful coastal property that features fabulous views of the Santa Ynez mountains, the ocean and the Channel Islands. You can access the Seal Rookery from here. It is also home to such birds as the White-tailed Kite, the Loggerhead Shrike, American Kestrel, and Red-Tailed and Cooper hawks. Native plants include coastal sage scrub and stipa grasslands as well as several stands of non-native but impressive eucalyptus. You can start your walk here (on middle to low tide), walk along the beach all the way to the Salt Marsh Estuary and back. It's about a two mile walk on clean white sand and probably one of the most beautiful anywhere. One of the most interesting secrets of Carpinteria is the Harbor Seal Preserve, which is home to almost 100 adult seals who give birth to their cubs on the Carpinteria shoreline. The beach is closed 750 feet on either side of the preserve from December through May. The seals are there all year long, but in the spring the cubs don't have the thick layer of fat that they need to protect themselves from the cold ocean waters. You can visit the Preserve via the bluffs. The seals are fascinating to watch as they move in and out of the water, bask in the sun, argue amongst themselves and dive for fish. The south edge of Carpinteria is home to the famous Rincon Beach, known to surfers world wide as one of the planet’s best point breaks. Northwest of the city is Padaro Beach or Santa Claus Lane, which is more of an unofficial beach break known primarily to locals.
