Apt 6: Cozy Beach Apartment Great For Families

Beautiful newly family-oriented remodeled ground floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with brand new modern furnishings and amenities throughout. This recently renovated complex (2018) is half a block from the nicest beaches of Carpinteria and directly across from the Salt Marsh Reserve. Super quiet location, 200 yards from the sand, and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. This unit was recently furnished (June 2020) with high-quality furniture and beachy art decor.

Carpinteria is one of the last standing little beach towns in California, essentially unchanged in over 50 years. The city is limited in growth based by its physical boarders, making the entire town only about 1 mile square. Dozens of smaller mom and pop restaurants and cute beachy shops. Its a town where you young children can walk or bicycle safely, visiting old favorite shops like Robitelle's Candy shop, Foster's Freeze, and The Spot burger joint. Then there's the beach! Protected by the Anacapa Island chain, Carpinteria is known as the World's Safest Beach. Your dogs will love it too, as the beach from our street (Ash Avenue) Northward, dogs are allowed with leashes.

We're located about 10 miles from world renown Santa Barbara, and 15 miles from the city of Ventura. Looking for some shopping? Camarillo Outlet Mall is located 30 miles to the South. Northward you find dozens of wineries, Solvang, and all directions have dozens of great golf courses. Whether you're interested in shopping, dining, kayaking, whale watching, golfing, or just relaxing on the beach, Carpinteria vacation will become a fond memory that you and your family will yearn to repeat year after year. All of Carpinteria is easily walked in about an hour. There is also a cute public trolly and bicycles to rent (mostly summer). Amtrak stops many times each day for fast easy trip to Santa Barbara and points beyond. LAX is the International airport that serves the area, about 2 hours South. The smaller Santa Barbara Airport is about 30 minutes away.

The host was very nice and welcoming. The place was very nice: Very clean with updated appliances and comfortable beds and couch. The highlight was the location. So close to an incredible beach! Carpentaria is such a cute town close to grocery stores. Would love to come back.

This is our 3rd stay and we had a great time. This is the first time I’ve brought my fur-baby and it was perfect and so comfortable. Great location and clean unit! We will be back again for sure! Close walk to the beach where my family camps out.

Wonderful Location

Olena was awesome throughout the whole process; from scheduling to onsite and everywhere in between. Whenever we had an issue, we were able to talk directly to her as she was onsite most of the time. On top of that, the location and home were top notch! We would LOVE to stay here again! Thanks, Olena!

Lovely apartment for our family of 5 adults

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment was perfect for our family of five adults. It was very clean and quite lovely both inside and out (I may be biased but the landscaping of this building is the best in Carpinteria). The kitchen was well-provisioned in terms of cookware and dishware - and we appreciated the pantry space since we cooked many of our own meals. The 4 washers and 5 dryers in the common area were quite helpful in allowing us to pack fewer items of clothing. The location is unbelievable - it takes a minute or so to walk the one block to the beach and the salt marsh (with trails) is right across the street. Walking to the restaurants and shops takes 5-10 minutes -- what a treat! If I had a magic wand, I would have added one chair in the master bedroom (there was no place to sit but the bed and there is plenty of room for a small chair) and a narrow shelf in the master bedroom below the wall-mounted TV (to charge phones and place small items). We would have loved to swap out the bar-height dining table for a regular-height dining table -- it would have made it easier for everyone to eat together. Overall this was a great place for our vacation!

Great location, close to beach

If you are all about beach access, this place is for you! It is about a half block walk right onto the sand! It is on a very peaceful street, with a nature preserve across the street. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. They provide beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. (and there are boogie boards behind the building for anyone to use during their stay). Our only complaint is that the unit is a bit dark. The windows don't seem to get direct sunlight. This building has many units for short term rental so maybe it is just a matter of inquiring as to which ones are a bit brighter with sunlight. The manager, Elena, was great to work with and let us check-in early.

Great property! Close to Santa Barbara excitement while offering an affordable beach getaway. We loved the small town feel of Carpenteria and were just a block away from one of the best beaches sin So Cal. Great restaurants in town. The place had everything we needed!!

Great Apartment

We really liked this place. Looking for a reasonably priced place where we could explore Carpinteria and Santa Barbara from and this place fit the bill perfectly! Just a few minutes walk to the beach and the apartment was immaculate! Very nice, with on-site laundry, comfortable beds - can't think of anything to nit-pick. Great place and we'll be back.

Fantastic condo close to the beach and the salt marsh

Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We came to celebrate a birthday with family, who live close by..and to bring our golden retriever. The condo is spectacular with new looking appliances, beautiful granite counters, ceiling fans in every room (thank you!), very comfortable beds, and huge TVs! We are so grateful that you allow dogs and that you emphasized quiet time at night, so dogs were not barking. It was very quiet at night. We will definitely come again!

My favorite place in Carpinteria so far

Fantastic home in a great part of town! Easy beach access, beautiful home and great communication from the owners. We loved having two separate beds for our kids and their own bathroom. They provided plenty of supplies for the week and the home was very clean. Beach chairs, towels and an umbrella were a bonus! We come to the area yearly to visit family and this has been our favorite rental so far!
