Welcome to Dolphin Dreams!

A quick 3-4 minute walk to the beach, this home is surrounded by natural vegetation and located in a quiet neighborhood within the prestigious St. George Plantation gated community. The 1st floor living room offers a large, flat screen TV and DVD player, and a Queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping for up to 2 guests. This relaxed space opens onto a shaded and screened-in, furnished porch which overlooks the screened-in private swimming pool and grilling area with 2 single park-style charcoal grills.

The cozy kitchen is well-equipped for meal prep, with plenty of counterspace and a breakfast bar with seating for 4. The dining nook seats up to 6.

Just past the living room are the Twin bedroom with 2 single beds and a Queen bedroom. These bedrooms share a hall bathroom with tub/shower combination and both bedrooms are equipped with TVs. The laundry closet with full size washer/dryer can be found in the hall between these rooms.

Upstairs are 2 spacious Master bedrooms, each with a King bed. The first Master suite boasts a private screened-in balcony and private bathroom with shower. The second Master suite has a private bathroom with shower, and both TVs have a large, flat screen TV.

Don’t forget your four-legged family! This property allows up to 2 medium size dogs with advance approval for an additional fee. Please inquire.

Outdoor conveniences include an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning sink, under-house parking and covered entry, and 2 park-style grills. The private screened-in swimming pool has a spacious deck and plenty of late afternoon shade. Pool heat is available for an additional $400.00 plus tax.

The walk to the community beach boardwalk is a short 3-4 minute stroll from the property. As a guest inside the St. George Plantation community, you will have access to the two community swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts and fitness center. Only one mile from Bob Sike’s Cut for the best sunset views and fishing off the jetties!

The property is ideally located; just a short walk to the beach. The neighborhood is very quiet. The home is very clean and well furnished. The pool was heated to perfection. We had a few minor snags and the property manager was excellent. They took care of any issues in a prompt and friendly manner. We will definitely stay with them again!

45th Anniversary memories

This is our first time to St George Island and everything was perfect. Our VRBO was fantastic and the owner was great with communications. The house delivered on everything that was shared on-line. We will be back with our family again!! I highly recommend As Good as it Gets!

Great place for some R&R

Clean property, quick walk to the beach, quiet and secluded. Handy area for a shower and rinsing things off under the house by the pool. Spent a good amount of time in the screened in patio shielded from the bugs.

Great spot, nice house

We had a great time at Dolphin Dreams! The house was clean, updated, and in great condition. There were lots of supplies available for use (trash bags, laundry and dishwasher pods, sponge, soap, etc.). Screened-in pool was great to keep bugs out and it's a short, lovely walk to the beach.

Beautiful, Peaceful Setting

This is a nice house and the neighborhood is great. The house was what was expected from the listing. We would definitely recommend this house. The only (minor) issue is that the mattresses could be updated for better sleeping comfort.

Plus, the racks on the door kept falling off and our drinks would fall out.

Wonderful stay

The place is secluded and quiet but the pool got enough sun that it was enjoyable. It is a very short walk to the beach so easy to run back to the house for lunch or forgotten items. We worried about the weather on one day with a severe storms//winds/flooding but putting items next to the house they were safe and dry. We also enjoyed having such a well built and private outdoor shower that the kids could fully change before coming in and avoided getting the house sandy. The foot cleaning spout was a bonus too. Overall very pleased with this place we found even if a little last minute for us.

We cook all our meals while on vacation.....KITCHEN PERFECTLY STOCKED!!!! Loved the screened back porch...my husband&I wnjoyed our morning coffee and evening adult beverages out there every morning and night! We are poo snobs since we have one of our own and the pool at Dolphin Dreams was PERFECT!!! Pool furniture very accommodating and comfortable! The shower down by the pool was awesome! Shower in 2 bedrooms upstairs were extremely small though so my husband and I took our showers down at the pool shower! The inside of Dolphin Dreams was very clean...no complaints. First time we have ever stayed at a rental house where the outside trash cans were big and not broken....thank you!!! We were disappointed only in the parking. We were not able to park our truck or a Tahoe under either side of the under house parking. OTHERWISE SATISFIED!KUDOS to Desiree at Forgotten Shores Property Management...everytime i talked to her on the phone she was 100% patient, kind, helpful, etc etc etc!!!! Thank you Desireee!!

The house looked like it had some age on it but was very clean and comfortable. The one thing that bothered me was the fact that the window screens in a lot of the windows were really messed up - making it so you couldn't see out the window. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. We liked the location - just a few minutes' walk to the beach and about a 20-minute walk to the cut. It was very quiet and very peaceful. We had a couple of minor questions, and the Forgotten Shores staff was very responsive and helpful. We are extremely thankful that our dogs were able to stay with us. They were very comfortable also. We would definitely stay here again.

The rental was exactly as described and pictured and was clean, had comfortable furniture and beds, and was well-stocked. We also liked the location -- it's in a quiet area, just a very short walk to the beach and fairly close to the Sikes Cut. We appreciate the fact that the owners allowed us to have our small dog with us. During our stay at Dolphin Dreams, we were visited by several friends, as well as our adult daughter and found the house to easily accommodate those visitors. The screened porch and screened pool area were additional pleasant places to sit. My only caveat about this home is that if you had a large group (which is certainly possible since there are four bedrooms and three baths), the living room and dining area would be too cramped for my taste. But for our smaller group, it was very nice.

Biggest obstacle was the large dining area furniture. Less chairs and a smaller table would get more utilization The other easy, inexpensive thing would be to add hooks outside underneath to hang beach towels, swim gear etc AND hooks in bathrooms, bedrooms, screened porch anywhere and everywhere would make for guests to organize their belongings more easily. With 10 guests the towel allotment was a bit tight. One of the king beds wasn’t very comfy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful private location. It’s not waterfront nor water view but it is very private and a 2 minute walk to the beach! We loved the home and the floor plan worked very well for 3 adult couples with a room to spare! We each had our own bathroom and bedroom and thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch. The home is well appointed and equipped. We even hopped in the pool a few times. I believe there is an option to have it heated but we braved it and it was refreshing as the weather was getting warmer during our stay. We discovered SGI 3 years ago and have stayed every year. The last 2 we’re with Forgotten Shores and we will be back every year that we can!
