Great summer get away

House was clean, in a great location, and perfect for our yearly beach vacation. Highly recommend for those who want to be near the beach and also have plenty of space for the kids and mother-in-law to spread out.

Perfect Family Home

The house was beautiful, with a large comfortable seating area where the entire family could sit. Big table to play games and build puzzles. So close to the beach it was almost insane for the price. I had a torn meniscus and had to walk gently, luckily it was a easy walk. Would definitely come back to this home. St. George Island is the perfect family beach.

Annual family vacation

Property was in great shape as always, owners have always been flexible if something arises that is outside normal rules set for the rental. Would highly recommend, well furnished house with easy access to the gulf.

Wonderful Vacation

What a fun house- lots of space, well equipped and just steps from the beach. The decks are wonderful, the island is beautiful and the people are friendly. We will be back.

Great escape

My parents, 24 year old daughter and her boyfriend, as well as, my 17 year old son stayed here. The house was great for a multi generational group. Great location and wonderful house. Well equipped for cooking and easy beach access. Very clean. Loved our stay here.

Fantastic week

My family and I were blessed to enjoy this great property with wonderful views, plenty of room to spread out and just a short walk to the beach! Kitchen was very well stocked, decks were enjoyed daily and the kitchen island was perfect for pouring out our low country boil onto butcher paper and gathering around to enjoy! Thanks for great accommodations!

Great Quiet Location for Families

Smooth and easy check in. House had plenty of bedrooms and sleeping options. Great ocean views and outside deck space. Close proximity to the beach with private neighborhood beach path. Easy access to the bike path for a 2 mile ride to center of SGI. Would definitely stay here again!

Great vacation home!

Our two families had a great time! The main living area was awesome and made it so all could interact whether cooking, eating, doing laundry, or watching tv. Many outdoor seating and eating options! Very close to the beach which was not overly busy on any of the days. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was in really good condition. We found the front door to be a little tricky but we figured it out eventually. Great stay!!!

The last couple days of our stay we had air conditioning problems upstairs. Upon calling the owners, they had a technician out the next day which resolved the problem quickly.

Saint George Island…the best kept secret in Florida

We loved the property, had a ton of space for our party. It is close enough to walk to the beach. It stormed several days while we were there so we stayed in and took advantage of the games provided. We couldn’t get the TVs or wifi to work, which was okay since we were occupied doing other things. Saint George Island will definitely be somewhere we come back to, it’s quiet and not crowded like other popular beaches.

Thanks for the review. So sorry that the TV and internet services were not working. The guests who came in behind you notified us of the issue and Mediacom was prompt in getting out there to reconnect the service that had apparently been disconnected out at the street while they were doing storm maintenance. As you note, sometimes it can be nice to be without those services, allowing you to enjoy the Island and each other. Come back whenever you can.

Lovely Location Inside & Out

Our family had a great time at the SS WeDidIt. It is just a short walk to the beach, with beautiful views from the wraparound porch. It was great to have the gate so that our small dog could enjoy the porch as well. Plentiful seating on the porches, great for morning coffee at sunrise, and plentiful seating inside -- comfy couches and ample seating for dining AND doing a puzzle or playing a family game. Well-equipped kitchen. Very enjoyable stay! thanks so much.
