We enjoyed our stay in Loveland! This house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the downtown area. We appreciated being able to park the car and walk or ride our bikes to everything we wanted to do. Although there are a few things that could be upgraded (as older homes often have), the price is very affordable.
It was a very comfortable and serene place, very safe neighborhood and felt safe driving to King's Island ( neighborhoods very safe and great roads) Outdoors was very relaxing and dogs loved getting to run in the backyard after traveling.
Location is perfect, easy walking distance to food and shops. Great communication from the host. Price point is excellent. Allowing pets another bonus. And there is a fantastic dog park right around the corner.
The house was good.. and the neighborhood was great. Its was quiet, and everything was a short distance away. The pictures on the posting should be updated but the house was clean and definitely met our needs. The hot water pressure and beds were great after a long day.The only concern I had was that theres a decent amount of damage on the boards in the backyard deck so i definitely would not leave the kids unsupervised outside.
Older historic home, but was comfortable for our needs in the location we were looking for. Didn't use the kitchen much so cannot speak to how it was stocked, but everything else was sufficient for 3 adults.

I tried messaging the owner before rating this stay, but several weeks later, they still haven't even read it. Here are some of the details that stand out in my memory. Check in (after dark) was tricky because the outdoor lighting was not adequate. The bathroom was less than ideal, the tub was not really clean and there was low air flow. Bubbles in the bathroom paint from trapped moisture. The floor transition from dining to kitchen was a trip hazard. Most of the furniture was low quality and uncomfortable. No coffee provided, although it was mentioned in the listing. Stovetop around the burners was rusty and peeling. Upstairs window a/c was very loud and didn't work well. The unit has promise, but definitely needs some upgrades.

This guest did message me after they checked out with a number of issues that I really didn't know how to respond to without sounding rude, so here we go. There is a light on the front porch. You are the first guest to ever mention having an issue after dark in 8 years. If you're night vision is that poor use your cell phone light. I'm not going to put in flood lights. There is a fan in bathroom, it's actually very quiet and works well, if you turn it on. Which I can not force guests to do and they often don't. The floor transition. How do you Suppose I fix that? Lower the kitchen floor 2 inches? Raise the dining room floor 2 inches? I love you feel this is an issue, it gets raised (ha) about three times a year, but what is the fix? It's like telling me you're disappointed because there's not a swimming pool. Should I add a swimming pool? This is how the house is. I try to keep my places very reasonably priced. It's probably why you picked it. I can't even go into the complaining about the thread count of sheets, the noise from the extra AC in the upstairs bedroom and the quality of the furniture (which I have the same furniture in 30 places, if the furniture was an issue I would hear about it all the time, I don't). This review reflects more on the guest than on the house. If you are looking for a comfortable, budget friendly place to stay, this is a good choice. I've stayed here many times myself.
House is very close to downtown Loveland. Really enjoyed taking walks on the trail and going downtown. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in back yard. The home has all the amenities you need!
We found this home comfortable and very convenient. We have 2 small dogs that enjoyed the back yard especially after our drive. We slept well and had everything we needed.
When we entered the home, there was an overwhelming musty odor that made it difficult to sleep and raised concerns due to my respiratory condition. I contacted the host the next morning and requested a different property. He explained that recent storms caused moisture issues and that his homes were over 100 years old, saying “this is how these houses are.” He apologized but stated there was nothing he could do to address the smell and had no alternative properties available.I informed him we would be checking out and requested a refund for the remaining two nights. He stopped responding. VRBO contacted him on my behalf, but he declined the refund, stating he would only consider it if the cancelled nights were rebooked by someone else.Overall, the condition of the home and the lack of resolution made this stay very disappointing.

This guest says directly in his review "due to my respiratory condition". The cancellation policy does not cover your respiratory condition. You don't get to book a place, hold the dates so no one else can book, at a 100 year old house that allows pets and then show up and get a full refund "due to my respiratory condition". I'm sorry, that's like booking and wanting a refund because there not a pool. Read the description and book a place that is appropriate for you. There is nothing wrong with the house. It is rented all the time. Have hosted 100's of guest here and this is the such a bs review. I did tell him to cancel his reservation and I would try to rebook the remaining nights and refund for any that rebooked. He refused. There is a cancelation policy to protect both parties. These nights would have rented to someone else had he not rented them. Instead he blocked them from being rented. Refused my offer (which I didn't have to offer). And brought Vrbo into who contacted me at least a dozen times because he kept calling them. And they did nothing, because this falls under the cancelation policy. This guest should be banned or at least ask some serious questions about a place to see if it's going to work with his respiratory conditions before booking, blocking the dates, canceling and causing endless issues.
Enjoyed the location, could drive to the Western and Southern tennis tournament, easily accessible to Kings Island and other attractions. Walkable to historic downtown Loveland with lots of charm, shops, bars, and restaurants. Quaint home that fit our needs perfectly. Only suggestion is couch in the living room could use a good cleaning or be replaced. Good communication and would stay here again.
Really enjoyed our stay. Everything in the home is as depicted. Hot water in shower is great!! Bed was comfy. Was not there a lot but we did appreciate all that was offered. Thanks
