About this property

Stay in the Old Hauenstein Brewery on the 1st level

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the authentic rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level unit with rooms each with a king bed in romantic decor, one bathroom, a common area parlor with wingback chairs, table & coffee bar (kcup+ Nespresso+ mini fridge and ice maker). The private upper garden (shared with owner) has a fire pit, outdoor cellar, and two dining tables surrounded by forest and fire-flies. The building is surrounded by an underground creek and is partially built into the earth, so it is naturally cool, and does not need air conditioning (No A/C). Please note there is NO Full Kitchen. It is a 7 min walk to Schell brewery and 4 minute drive to downtown. Ths is a historic building in a historic residential neighborhood accessible by 5 steps at front door. Host lives on upper levels.
