Hummingbird Cabin is the ideal choice for hikers and waterfall enthusiasts as well as for families looking for a big house to be together. It has spacious porches, a fire-pit for joyful gatherings, deer sightings, big great room with foosball, and dining room, and tranquility surrounding you. The private country acreage brings serenity, while Cummins Falls nearby provides adventures. Families and groups of up to 8 adults and 2 toddlers will find this accommodation perfectly suited, and it's conveniently located 20 minutes Cookeville shopping. Plenty of yard and grass to play ball outside. Plenty of porch space to BBQ and eat out. Or gather in our big great room. We've got board games, foosball, and a big screen Roku tv you can sign in to your favorite streaming service, and comfy beds. We require a credit card hold of $300 as a security deposit during your stay. We offer as much as a 45% discounts for 6+ month leases.

The whole place is yours during your stay on a safe, tranquil country dead end lane with great neighbors. Drive past farms and cattle to arrive. About 20 minutes from Tennessee Tech. There is a creek at the bottom of the property in the woods that leads to a waterfall for those that like rough hiking. Near the quaint Dodson Branch community is a Dollar General. Be sure to fill up with gas and groceries before coming out! Your view will be woods and your own yard.

There's plenty of parking in the driveway and on the county lane. The nearest store is the Dollar General at 17666 Dodson Branch Hwy., about 5 minutes away. You should fill up with gas and groceries in Cookeville before coming out.

Country Getaway.

Nice place with deer in the yard every day. Plenty of parking and nice porches too seat and enjoy the wildlife. Nice place too stay when visiting family and check out the near bye attractions.

Primary reason was to visit family, but we doubled down, (our daughter didn't want us to be gone for her b'day) so her, her s/o and 3 kids came along. We loved the house, Regina was super helpful with any issues that came up and we had a great time exploring the area. We were sorry to leave.

Just a few items would make the extra star, brighter lights in kitchen or light above microwave, better drawers in dressers, hutch, feels like there're gonna fall out when you open them, a door stop where doors don't remain open or shut....loved ease tv platform, wifi, games, lots of towels, seclusion.

My family reunion was this past weekend and it was awesome to find a VRBO in Dodson Branch. I also learned my grandparents lived on this farm in the 50’s with several of their children including my mother.. We did have several family members stop by to visit it it was nice because most of them live within minutes away and we traveled over 500 miles I was so glad they came to see us. It was nice to see deer grazing in the yard . My granddaughter was walking to get in the car and she encountered a black snake soaking up the sun in the driveway. There were a few items with the home that needs attention- to mention a couple - ceiling fam needs repaired or replaced in the kitchen , cabinet doors are missing, the cold air return vent was off and laying on the floor , a good deep cleaning not enough washcloths , the kitchen was equipped however there was no small bowls or any larger pots The mattress in the bunk room was so uncomfortable I felt like I was lying on plywood . We ended up buying a mattress topper Over ALL We enjoyed our time spent as a family at Hummingbird Cabin - and I would rent it again if the host would have us .
