Lakefront Gem! Relaxing Ozark Oasis on a Quiet Cove with Private Dock

Relaxing days on the water aren’t far when you venture to this peaceful vacation rental. Nestled on a quiet cove and featuring 1,500 square feet of lakefront luxury, this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat is the perfect place to unplug, reset, and leave your troubles behind. Our home is very private and on the end of the road within the subdivision. Unlike many other communities, this subdivision has its own boat ramp to launch your watercraft within the eyesight of the property. Amazing views, a large yard, and an easy walk to the shoreline or our dock.

Minimum age to book is 25+ (Photo ID required from the main renter) We are the only vacation rental in our community. This is NOT a party home or a place for large gatherings. We do require travel party information to include the names/ ages of guests.

Security Camera Disclosure: Your safety matters! There are four outdoor cameras on the property. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion.

We will provide starter supplies of septic-safe toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and laundry pods based on your occupancy numbers. Each bathroom will also have essential soaps, shampoo, towels/linens, etc. We try to cover a few basics in case guests forget, but we cannot account for everyone's specific wants and needs.


**House rules**
-Please try to avoid making any loud noises or disturbances between 10 pm and 8 am to allow neighbors a peaceful night’s rest.
-Please Park your vehicles in the designated driveway space only.
- Parking is not permitted on the grass.
-Please do not exceed 15 mph on the approach to our home.
-The garages are off-limits to guests and their vehicles.
- No smoking/vaping allowed indoors. Please only smoke outside. Damage deposit and/or additional cleaning fees will be charged for smoking indoors.
- Tampering with security cameras, locks, and/or Wi-Fi routers will result in immediate cancellation without refund. Outdoor Cameras are there for the protection of the property.
- No fireworks or discharging of weapons on property or subdivision.
- No illegal drugs on property or subdivision.
- All trash in the outside container must be bagged and tied, no loose trash of any kind.
-Please stay off other private docks in the community.
-The property is on a well and septic system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. If it is found that anything other than toilet paper has been flushed and clogged the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to __$500__.

Great swimming

Everything the other reviews say is correct but I wanted to add that there's easy swimming off the back of the property. The lake is a bit muddy, but it's shallow and slowly gets deeper so it was perfect for all our kids of different ages and confidence levels!

The lake home was very nice inside and the yard to the lake was very large. The grass was nicely mowed and I ran around in my bare feet most of the time. Was a wonderful lake get away. Our host Brittany was very responsive with our questions.

Cozy, clean, comfortable. It felt like staying at a friend’s house. Kitchen is very well stocked. The yard is huge with lots of room to run and play, but the water was still close enough to enjoy. The lake is a gentle slope, perfect for swimming. The porch was excellent for evenings, sitting and watching the lights on the water. The whole cove was quiet and chill. We also enjoyed fishing and caught a few small bass, sunfish and catfish. Overall we had an excellent stay and would love to come back!

Springtime Family Fishing trip

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is well apportioned and very comfortable. The back porch and yard are a natural place to relax and enjoy the view and surroundings while visiting. Awesome place to stay with a good dock. Very nice location do not have to travel far to get to anything you would want to do. Caught some very nice catfish from the bank right by the house.

We wanted a place where we could relax and enjoy the lake for a long weekend. This was the perfect place! Peacefully Quiet Home

This beautiful home was perfect for our family get-away. We were all able to comfortably sleep and eat with room to spare. The fact that the house and water are both on level ground makes it even more appealing to anyone not wanting to deal with stairs! The dock was recently renovated with all new wood and accommodated our pontoon boat with ease. We were able to go for a sunset cruise on the water and just pull back in to the dock and walk up to the house with no issues. The neighbors were friendly and not noisy. The hosts we’re super easy to deal with and answered our questions. We are already discussing dates to come back to stay again and see the fall colors.

Perfect lakeside property!!

My wife, 2 sons and I were in town to visit my dad who lives in Warsaw. This property is truly a gem! It was easy to find, easy to check in, and immaculately clean! It appears to be recently remodeled. The property is fairly flat so it’s super easy to get to the dock and waters edge to fish. The dock walking surface is also new. The house has absolutely everything we needed, and was super comfortable for all of us. We’ll definitely be back if it’s available next time we are in town. It would be perfect for older folks that have trouble getting around because the driveway is nice and flat, and there is only a very small step to get into the property. Thank you!!!

Great Location, Responsive Owners

We were in town for a wedding in Sedalia and wanted a location that allowed for us to explore the area and do some fun stuff outside. This property absolutely delivered. The private dock made getting kayaks and paddleboards in and out a breeze. The location is a short drive to both the dam and the MTB park (note about the MTB park: trails looked poorly maintained when we were there. Had lots of potential but we ultimately bailed on the ride to spend more time at the lake). The neighbors are friendly and the area feels incredibly safe. We thankfully didn't need much from the owners, but whenever we did have a question they were very responsive. Also, we had an amazing stargazing experience while on the water and got to see a string of Starlink Satellites late at night. We were a party of 6, all couples. No one complained about their beds, even the adults in the bunk bed room had no complaints about the bed. All in all, this property really did its part to make our vacation a success. I was traveling with my in-laws and this property helped everyone relax and allowed them to spread out and get comfortable. If we ever need to come back to Sedalia, we'll be staying here again for sure.

We chose this location because it has been part of Brittany’s life for as long as she can remember. She spent her summers here as a little girl, making memories at the lake with her grandparents, who owned the home prior to their passing.
