Mountain View Family Cabin

Relax with the whole family and enjoy the view. You probably never knew there were mountain views only 1.5 hours outside of Birmingham! Convenient to outdoor activities like Little River Canyon (hiking, whitewater rafting, swimming holes), DeSoto State Park, and more! Family friendly including full size cribs, booster seats, and tableware. Make wonderful memories with your whole family without lugging around a ton of stuff!
The space
Large home with three large bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Kitchen: full size refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher & microwave; reverse osmosis drinking water system; Normal coffee maker (not Keurig); blender, ovenware, etc available; dining table with seating for 6
Laundry room: full size washer and dryer; additional refrigerator/freezer
Master bedroom: downstairs; en suite bathroom with shower (handheld), bidet toilet, and LED mirror; king bed, windows looking out at Mountain View; no TV
Bedroom A: upstairs; 2 full beds; two full size cribs with sheets; closet space; no TV
Bedroom B: upstairs; 1 queen bed; dresser and closet space; no TV
Upstairs bathroom: tub and shower (handheld)
Outdoor Area: dining table and seating; fire pit and wood
Guest access
Access to entire home with exception of three closet spaces that will be locked
Other things to note
This cabin is in a semi-remote area.
Be mindful of ticks, chiggers, spiders, and snakes the bushy/wooded areas of the property. The last few miles (~20 minutes) of the journey to the cabin are on a gravel road. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is not required. The road is maintained but severe rain could cause the road to be bumpy and slick. Please follow all posted speed limit signs and exercise caution.

We had an Amazing stay at the cabin, it was very clean, comfy and had everything we needed, and very private! And what an Awesome view off the back porch ! The ride getting to cabin was a longer, bumpier ride and expected, but once there, didn’t want to leave.

The cabin was great very clean. Had everything we needed in it. Everyone with us enjoyed their stay. We all enjoyed sitting on the back porch drinking our morning coffee looking at the Mountain View. We wanted a relaxing getaway, this was it. House & cabin can accommodate many, but it was also perfect for just us two. Great house and the view was beautiful.

Girls Trip

This place is amazing. The accommodations were perfect for us, and the view off the back deck was spectacular. Although, it is a dirt road that takes you to the house, it is well worth the drive.

The best part of the house was the sunroom. Perfect space for the kids to hang out away from adults to just be kids. Especially with it being so cold.

Great Getaway!!!

We really enjoyed getting away for a few days. This was the perfect location, in the woods, with a wonderful view. We played games, and reminisced the old days when we pIugged in the Nintendo, provided by the owner. We cooked and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes, salt, pepper, and even some canned goods. The beds were comfortable and we left relaxed and rested. I wish we could've stayed longer but life goes on, once you checkout.
