Very nice apartment TYPE D: Probsteier Platz 4. Stock The idyllic Baltic Sea resort of Laboe (approx. 5500 inhabitants) is picturesquely located at the exit of the Kiel Fjord on the eastern shore. The former fishing village has developed into a popular holiday and bathing resort. Laboe is an old place and was first mentioned in documents in 1240. The name Laboe is derived from the Slavic "Lubodne", which means "swan place". And even today the swan is the Laboes heraldic animal. The long, fine sandy beach slopes gently towards the fjord, making it particularly recommended for families with small children. The water park is located directly on the beach promenade. With the Kiel Fjord, one of the most busy waterways in the world, on the doorstep, "beach life" offers a special attraction for "seers" who can watch the passing ships extensively. The world-famous 85 m high naval memorial overlooks the panorama of Laboe. This memorial commemorates the fate of all people who stayed at sea and is intended to warn of peaceful seafaring on the open seas. When the weather is clear, the visitor has a beautiful view from above of the fjord and the Baltic Sea. For several years now, the submarine U 995 has been located at the foot of the memorial as a technical museum. The movie "Das Boot" takes place on a submarine, which like the U 995 belongs to the famous class VII C. A visit to U995 offers an impressive insight into the indescribable narrowness of which the submarine men had to live for months. The Kiel Fjord is considered the sailing mecca ("Kiel Week") par excellence. In the immediate vicinity are the Danish islands of Langeland and Aero, the so-called "Danish South Pacific". Exhausted sailors can rest and relax in the Labo marina.

Our Laboe holiday apartment is located on the fourth floor of the "Erholungszentrum Laboe" apartment complex with a wonderful view of the city center and far beyond Kiel's inner fjord to Kiel. The apartment is easily accessible via an elevator.
From the sunny south-east balcony you can watch the rainy shipping traffic and the sailing boats on the fjord.
In just 200 meters you can reach the spa beach with the beach promenade and the port is only 500 meters away.
Shops and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity.
Enjoy the weekly market every Thursday, which takes place right on your doorstep.
Through the hall you reach the modern living room, from which the small kitchen and the bedroom with single beds go off.
The apartment offers enough space for four people.
The apartment complex has two large communal parking spaces.
Two rooms are available for bicycles as storage facilities.

Children up to 18 years are exempt from the tax.
