Three grandparents, two kids my wife and I

Place was great, ate breakfast outside every day. Gated community was absolutely beautiful w wild turkeys and partridge stopping in to check on us daily.

Great condo with very well stocked kitchen

We have never stayed in a rental with such a well-stocked kitchen! It’s a great condo and the owners are also thoughtful about bikes, chairs, an umbrella, wagon and other beach gear. Do be prepared to drive to the beach and the beach club, which is a very nice option as long as you arrive early or hit it right at lunch time when others leave chairs to have lunch. Like a big island dream

Excellent property, with everything you need and more. I rate it above excellent, simply amazing. Excellent quality of the furnishings and other equipment inside. Made our experience like a dream. The resort also was very well maintained. I would come again and again.

Spectacular house, property, pool, and beach access!

This house/condo was amazing, very spacious, and well stocked with everything you need (in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry, and beach) for 8 (including a large dinner table with seating for 8 plus 2 high chairs). It's even better in person than the photos! The location in Mauna Lani Fairways is amazing too--the pool and hot tub was spectacular. The Mauna Lani Beach Club was amazing--much better than the photo depicts--with beach chairs, bathrooms, great snorkeling in a nice cove, and coastal trail. Foodland grocery is nearby and so are other beaches and petroglyphs. There's a great selection of beach gear and beach toys for the kids. We highly recommend this place and would go back in a heartbeat (it's a favorite part of our intergenerational Hawaii vacation!).

My husband and I found the property was as-described in the listing and actually more beautiful in person. It is clearly well managed and we were provided everything we needed for our stay. The house rules were common-sense and the check in/out was hassle free. Although we don’t have children, I highly recommend this booking if you’re traveling with kids. Not only are the rooms and living areas spacious, but they have a high chair and play pen tucked away in the closet; along with books and games for young ones and a little grassy area to run around outside the lanai. Would recommend to friends and family and will definitely consider rebooking when next time we’re back in Waikoloa

Great!

My family is kama'aina, based in Hilo, and we often come over to Kohala coast. We have stayed at over half a dozen VRBOs in the area over the last few years, but can honestly say this was one of the better units we have rented. Excellent location and access, with short drives to our favorites, A-beach, Hapuna. Ample parking for our 2 cars. Unit was clean, no bugs! Nice and quiet, versus some we have stayed in closer to Waikoloa. Nice array of beach gear to use. Living room pull-out mattress was rough, but no big deal. Well-stocked kitchen. We'll seek another of these units out in the future.

Wonderful!

The property was perfect for our needs! All the things that make a comfortable were provided. Ample linens and towels, and all the soaps, shampoos, conditioner, body wash provided saved us space from packing. There is a beach park with in walking distance for water viewing. The swimming beach at the Beach Club is the BEST! It’s a very short 5 min drive and our kids had the best day snorkeling there. Lots of shade and chairs provided. We really enjoyed our stay here!

A real gem at Mauna Lani

My husband and I booked this unit as an interim place to stay while moving between homes. The owners were very accommodating and the rental was perfect for our needs. The condo is located within short walking distance of the Fairways the recreation center and the front gate. It’s a convenient location, yet surprisingly quiet. There was ample parking for our second car. We found the unit to be bright, spacious and immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals and eat in. The furnishings appeared to have be recently updated in many of the rooms and were very comfortable. The Fairways is an ideal location to be while vacationing at Mauna Lani Resort. It is within walking distance of both Fairmont Orchid Hotel, Holoholo Kai Beach Park and the shops at Mauna Lani. It is about a 7 minute drive ( or a 20 minute walk) to the Mauna Lani Beach Club which offers some of the best snorkeling on the west side of the island. For those who are visiting for the first time the owners have prepared a great informative binder with ideas as to what to see and where to eat. As former Mauna Lani residents, our favorite place to hang out for a casual dinner is the beachside Hali Kai Restaurant and at the Fairmont; it’s a wonder place to have a relaxing drink and light meal, while observing the turtles and the sun going down. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone considering a stay at Mauna Lani and will keep it in mind when our friends and family come to town. Mahalo nui loa to the owners for a great stay.

a piece of paradise

Stunning property! We travelled with a family of 5 + grandparents and we all felt we had tonnes of room. Beautiful kitchen and well equipped. Washer and dryer was a dream to have! Hosts were great communicators and responded to any questions we had. A very special vacation!

Why they chose this property

We love the Fairways at Mauna Lani for so many reasons. The grounds are beautiful and it is well located within Mauna Lani to walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc but very quiet and peaceful. We bought this with our friends and plan to make a joint family vacation spot for years to come! We are excited to share it with others when we are not there- one of our favorite things about owning a vacation property.

What makes this property unique

This is an addition to our two bedroom townhome next door and we thought it would be a great one! We can offer both units together (5 bedrooms to accommodate up to 14 guests) or separately.
