Calm Creek Retreat - minutes from slopes, hot tub, large cozy family room!

After a day on the slopes, return to Calm Creek Retreat for a relaxing hot tub soak and cozy night in by the fire!

Step into this spacious home with open first floor - great for gathering with family and friends. Well stocked kitchen with dishes and cookware, large shaded deck with a grill and dining area, soak in the hot tub or enjoy the rocking chairs by a fire pit and listen to the babbling brook as you take in the scenes of the 7th fairway of Devil’s Knob golf course. Brand new comfy couch to relax in front of the fireplace and watch a movie on multiple provided streaming services.

The house has two bedrooms with king beds and two bedrooms with queen beds. Downstairs there is a half bath adjacent to the entry and a Jack and Jill style bathroom with private sink areas and a shared toilet/bathing area between a king and queen bedroom. Upstairs, the king and queen bedrooms each have a private bathroom with the queen bathroom also having a hall entrance for anyone sleeping on the queen sofa bed in the loft to use. There are room darkening/noise muffling curtains that can be pulled across the opening of the loft for privacy. There are balconies off of each king bedroom.

The house is minutes from multiple popular hiking trails of various degrees of difficulty. Guests are welcome to use an assortment of games, puzzles and DVDs.

Washer/dryer available. Please bring detergent

For security purposes, this property has a doorbell camera at the front entrance and a security camera overlooking the side yard/corner of back deck

Awesome accommodations for a family gathering

The location is convenient to the ski hills, golf, mountain overlooks and Old Appalachian Trail. The house was every bit as good as anticipated from the listing. Large TVs, great entertainment options and frequent relaxation in the hot tub were enjoyed by all.

A wonderful Long Weekend Getaway

Great Mountain Retreat!

The house was everything we hoped for. Easy access to Wintergreen, ample parking. A great deck and hot tub! Plenty of room, clean, and open space. Rooms were perfect for us and our small group of friends. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Property!

The home is very large and could comfortably accommodate four couples. We were only a few minutes from the resort. The host could not be nicer; she was quick to respond to messages and was very flexible regarding our travel arrangements. We would most definitely stay here again.

Ladies weekend

Great stay at Wintergreen

Great house in a fantastic location inside Wintergreen resort. A quick drive to the chair lift for skiing or the (very well stocked) market. We enjoyed all of the activities at wintergreen and then relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day. Would return!

Nice house, well appointed, great area.

We were three generations (including little grandchildren) for a long weekend by the ski resort. It's a nice neighborhood, the house looks over a fairway (which was snowy when we were there). The ski slopes and tubing are very close. The houses are separated enough to feel some privacy. Grab your groceries before you arrive because it's 40 minutes round trip to the closest big grocery store.

Escape to the mountains!

Fantastic escape in to the mountains! This house is far better than in the pictures! Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable and spacious rooms, plenty of basic supplies, etc. The hot tub was a top feature! The house is nestled in the woods with a peek-a-boo view of the golf course and the relaxing sounds of a rushing creek just below. Kristin is extremely responsive and very accommodating! Highly recommend this property! We traveled with a newly-walking toddler and were glad we brought an extendable baby gate/fence to manage the steps down into the living room. We also loved the proximity to Rt 151 for excellent food and visiting the area winery/brewery/cidery trail. We hope to visit again!

Family weekend getaway

The property setting is wooded with the backyard near a small stream and a fairway on the golf course. Large decking with plenty of seating. Also, a deck outside the upstairs master. Felt very roomy for our family gathering of five adults, three children. Accommodations were as described. Well provisioned. Our host was extremely responsive. We even got an immediate call back regarding our request to add hot tub chemicals. The location offered nearby access to local distilleries/restaurants. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This is the perfect house to stay while you visiting Wintergreen, wineries, or distilleries. Full kitchen to cook, hot tub, fire pit, fireplace in the living room, etc. We had a great time and will be back again :)

Perfect mountain escape

This place had everything we needed (6 adults, one toddler) for a weekend escape! The indoor and outdoor spaces were huge and very comfortable. There was a ton of parking and we could have easily accommodated another couple and a couple more singles. Check in and out were a breeze, the hot tub and fires were lovely and everything was very clean. Our entire group said we’d book this place again!

Wintergreen Place

We loved every bit, from the outside to the inside of the house all around, from up and down inside the house, the porch was beautiful, the jacuzzi and the heating and ac was amazing. We were sad to leave the house but we will be back soon. Thank you and I would definitely recommend friends and family or even couples or couples with kids. It is a great drive to see different color trees and far animals. I would recommend it to anyone, amazing house.

Great location and space

This house was the perfect size for our family of 3 couples and 1 child. The summer camp for children at Wintergreen is so convenient. We liked being on the golf course. The house is well equipped and spacious. Hot tub was fun for the family. The one thing that keeps it from being a 5 is the need for updates and a few repairs. Places where the baseboard heat was removed were not repaired, the refrigerator does not keep the food quite cold enough, three hairdryers attached to the wall downstairs and none upstairs and others. The owner is especially nice and helpful.

Impromptu Weekend Getaway

Two weeks before Fourth of July, we decided to take an impromptu weekend away with another couple. We rented Saturday and Sunday night for a quiet weekend of golfing and relaxing in the hot tub. Kim was extremely helpful in accommodations and even gave us a night free (Friday) so we could golf Saturday since it was supposed to rain on Sunday. The house feels pretty secluded even though there are neighbors. The hot tub looked to be relatively new and was really nice for our stay. We had a great meal at The Edge and golfed at Stoney Creek (which was a really nice course!). We went to some wineries, breweries, and cideries. It was a really relaxing experience and will definitely stay again!

Girls Getaway

Kim was an awesome host and the home was absolutely perfect! The home is nestled in the woods, with a hot tub and firepit. Very clean, cozy, and well-stocked. We were a group of four hiking women and we each had our own room - a definite plus and a hard find. We will definitely be returning for some more adult time!

Another excellent stay

Had another amazing stay at this beautiful and very comfortable Wintergreen house. This is our third time staying at the house. We brought our friends this time, and everyone (4 adults, 2 three-year olds, and 2 one-year olds) had a blast. The owner is very thoughtful and helpful. We’re already planning a return visit, and can’t wait!

Kristin Robertson grew up having a family home at Wintergreen. Weekends were spent exploring all that the mountain has to offer - hiking, skiing, golfing and most importantly - relaxing! She is excited to share her home in hopes that other families will make wonderful memories on the mountain!

Our house is nestled in the woods providing peace and quiet. Sitting on the back deck, you can hear the soft babble of the creek and calming rustle of the trees that provide plenty of shade. We are ideally situated being just a few minutes drive to get to the golf course or main lodge for skiing/shopping/dining and within walking distance of many hiking trails.

When you are on the mountain, you get to step away from the "real world" at home and just relax! Our home is focused on providing relaxation for the full family. The open first floor with large family room allows plenty of space for different activities while having the feel that everyone is together!
