Totally secluded and isolated from the every day hustle and bustle, this property is ideal for that long break, or short weekend getaway! Surrounded on 3 sides by Percy Priest lake and totally wooded, this property provides the ultimate in privacy, but you're still within reach of most Nashville areas.
Distances: Downtown Nashville 29 miles / 35-40 minutes BNA Airport (Nashville) 23 miles / 35 minutes Mount Juliet (Providence shopping area) 12 miles / 22 minutes Smyrna, TN 8.6 miles / 15-20 minutes
The house is NOT lakefront. You can reach the lake by walking through the woods but it's recommended that you drive to the Lamar Hill access area for water activities. This boat ramp is a 1/2 mile away. 2 Paddle-boards and a trailer will be provided! A 2 inch hitch is needed to pull trailer.
The property also includes a fire-pit, hot tub and a huge deck for all your outside activities. There is a large field on one side of the house as well.
This property features 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. 2 of the bedrooms are King suites and one features it's own entrance and is VERY spacious. The other 2 rooms feature queen beds and there is an additional queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
Guests will have access to the entire property.
Although there are a few houses that share the same road, this property is very isolated. The driveway is very narrow and the last 1/4 mile is gravel. It can be accessed by most vehicles but you may need to drive slow and watch for bad spots in the road.
Uber and Lyft are available, but a car is recommended.
Pets are welcome but we ask that you please let us know how many and what type you plan to bring. We charge $100 per pet and ask that you not allow them on furniture during your stay as a courtesy to guests after you.
This property is in the woods. That means there will be some wildlife and that includes deer, opossums, raccoons, and bugs!. As much as we will try to control this with pest control, this is just a part of being secluded so please be aware.
Attention: There is a security camera located on the front of the house facing the driveway.

We loved this property. Secluded with lots of yard space. The home has a ton of character and spacious, which was perfect for spending time together with a big group.
Enjoyed the privacy and backyard with the beautiful covered porch, hot tub, and fire pit. Definitely off the beaten path, but that is one of the things we enjoyed the most.
We had a really nice stay overall. The space had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax, and the location was absolutely perfect — close enough to everything without being in the center of Nashville. There were a few items worth noting. Older or heavier persons may find it difficult to find comfort in the provided furniture, while the one couch was quite comfy it was also difficult to get out of. The kitchen chairs while aesthetically appealing got quite hard on the backside in the event of lengthy dinner conversation or card games. The main rooms and fireplace were very comfortable temperature wise but space heaters were needed in both king suites to keep a comfortable temperature(February visit & the space heaters were provided)The stove is more of a small apartment style stove-works just fine but something to be aware of if planning to cook large meals during your stay.Overall, we throughly enjoyed our stay and could have spent another week enjoying the hot tub and fabulous back porch
The property was a great place for a Family to gather together! It is truly remote and peaceful. We really enjoyed the property. We would definitely recommend and return!
Amazing property for a large family. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of Nashville but close to go into town to have fun. Very quiet area with plenty of things to do in the backyard. Will definitely book again next time we are in the Nashville area.
Very peaceful and relaxing place. You’ll forget you’re only 30 minutes outside Nashville. If you’re a nature lover this is the place for you. Excellent property, excellent host.
Loved the house. Beautiful setting in the woods. Lots of outdoor and indoor games. Beds comfortable. The kids loved the converted garage room with the loft bed. Loved the big kitchen table. Hot tub area was delightful, so peaceful. Saw deer several times.
This was our annual trip for my wife, her sisters and their spouses. This house is very unique and eclectic. It is secluded and the only neighbors you see are the squirrels, deer, and turkeys. This place is close enough to Nashville to drive in less than an hour. We enjoyed our stay very much!
We had a minor issue with the roof leaking but the management company acted super fast! Communication and check in were a breeze the house was wonderful! We had an absolute blast!
This place was perfect for our group of 10. It had everything we needed and more! The managing company was great when we called about the missing corn hole boards and stove, really great customer service! Would definitely stay again!
Ps for those looking into the activities provided: the kayak is actually a 2 person inflatable canoe, so you can actually get 8 ppl out on the water if needed (2 person/ canoe and 2 person/ paddle board).
Our son was airlifted to the hospital in Naples and we had to Emergently fly to Italy with no time to plan. The owner was so accommodating to our needs. He allowed us store our bags until we were updated from the hospital. Great host!
We were visiting family in Murfreesboro so didn't spend as much time at the house. The house had plenty of space to spread out and relax, three bathrooms came in handy when trying to get everyone out in the morning and all agreed the beds were so comfortable. I wish we had more time to sit on the porch and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Thank you, sorry you couldn’t enjoy the scenery more.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this magical space. The photographs of this listing give a good idea of the unique architecture and style of the building, porch, and amenities, but don’t convey the beauty of this gorgeous treed property. It’s truly like a private park at the end of a road, on a peninsula edged by Army Corps land and lake. In winter you can see the glint of water through the trees, and the light shows of sunrise/sunset reflections on the water. The porch, hot tub, and firepit were our favorite parts of the property. We loved all the windows bringing nature inside even in the cold, and the privacy. Furniture was extraordinarily comfortable. Great beds! I had to move into the main house from the garage master because even the combo of space heater and unit heater couldn’t keep that space livable. The queen bed was every bit as comfortable as the king. And I had to keep visiting the cold space because of the lure of that swing chair. The couches in the living room, as well as the outdoor furniture were great as well — and the swings hung at good heights. Given the attention to quality and style in furniture and decor, we were surprised by the flimsy flatware. The induction cooktop was a treat once we figured it out. You have to hold down that unlock button for FAR longer than you’d expect. Google was required. More specifics on that in the house manual would have been helpful. A dustpan and brush or a stick vacuum would be good additions. We had indoor shoes and outdoor shoes, but wanted to keep area by doors clean. We would have appreciated an electric kettle for tea at various water temps, a powerful blender or food processor, a toaster oven. Maybe a rolling cart or buffet type piece could be added to kitchen/dining area to accommodate more kitchen goods since storage is limited. Even at 5 mph, it’s a challenging road once you pass the nearest neighbors. There was only light rain while we were there, but the road was obviously impacted, and each trip required a new route through the ruts and washed out areas.

Rebecca made only one contact to us during her stay. That was to tell us she was leaving a day early because she was scared to stay alone once her friend left and she notified us at the time of her getting stuck on the road. When asked if she wanted me to check the road out she declined. I was there when she left and the driveway was fine. Review of our outside camera did not reveal her getting stuck at any time. She did not notify us of any other issues during her stay. Rebecca required more than almost any host can provide to get 5 stars. Also I was called by our gas company who was there briefly to fill the gas tank. He was concerned that Rebecca was taking multiple pictures of them. Would not rent to her again.
Charming property with lovely amenities. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, corn hole and walking through the trail to the lake. Secluded, but a short drive to grocery, gas, and restaurants. The host was very accommodating and communication was great. Will definitely book again if we come back to town!
Our group had a great time. The host checked on us and offered anything we needed for our stay to be even more enjoyable. The host even went out of his way to help us with removing some trash for us! We will definitely be staying again!!!!
House was great! Very cute and had everything we needed. Perfect size for two families. We had 4 adults and 5 kids. Teenage kids loved having their own hangout space in the converted garage. Hot tub was clean and there was lots of firewood for the outdoor fire pit. Kroger, Publix, and restaurants/shopping nearby. Nashville was only about 30 minutes away and was a great day trip (we went into town twice). Lake is beautiful and kids loved going on walks along the beach (we visited in December so too cold to swim). Property owners were also great. We didn’t have any issues but they were very responsive to any questions and the house was fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towel, soap, towels, coffee, etc. We will definitely be back in the summer when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the lake more.
