This VRBO was the perfect quiet getaway! The home was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and made everything easy from start to finish. It was peaceful, comfortable, and the kind of place you leave already thinking about when you can come back!

We enjoyed hosting you, and we hope to see you soon!
This is one of the best stays we’ve had! The hosts were absolutely amazing. Recommend this to anybody that would be going with children or just a couple trying to get away and enjoy some time together. They were so kind. We loved it so much that we are looking to book again in the near future. Don’t overlook this beautiful home and all the accommodations that come with it because it’s definitely worth it!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We really loved the location and the property itself. We felt welcomed and right at home. It was very peaceful and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Will book again.
This stay was wonderful. Jack and Rose were very kind and gracious, even though my boyfriends dog tore up some of the blinds. They worked with us to find a solution and stayed graceful the whole time. I would recommend this to anyone coming to the Rusk/Palestine area.
Rose is a wonderful host, the property was beautiful and we had everything we could possibly need. We worked remotely during our stay and it worked really well. They have a lovely pool, fabulously stocked cookhouse, and are pet friendly. Very happy we could stay here.

Thank you! We enjoyed getting to meet you and Nessa and we hope you will come see us again!
The whole place overall was extremely welcoming, cozy and felt like home. The hosts whent above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. Even offered us to tag along while feeding the horses.
We enjoyed sitting on the porch, under the shade at the pool and relaxing all while reading our books. The property is quiet and very pretty. I will definitely plan to come back.
Mr. Jack was outside cleaning the pool when I arrived. He was very kind and offered to help me unload my vehicle. This is a working ranch so the owners were out and about tending to their animals. It was extremely peaceful. We had farm fresh eggs in the fridge. The house itself is lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cookhouse has everything you need to make a full meal. We spent the weekend relaxing for my Husbands birthday. It was absolutely perfect!
We definitely will be back again! Such friendly hosts and was so prompt in responding back to us when we had questions. They did a great job of making sure everything was stocked for us and cleaned. Thank you so much Rose!

Thank you for your kind review. I wish you could have stayed longer! Maybe next time!
Jack and Rose are fantastic hosts. I mentioned that we were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and Rose brought us a giant slice of a delicious cake to celebrate. The animals are beautiful and my son loved playing with the dogs and cat as well as chasing the chickens. This place is a little slice of heaven away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
It was the most peaceful, restful, joyful and spiritual experience which was exactly what i needed at this time in my life. Rose and Jack were phenomenal host and really enjoyed giving the cows, pigs and chickens some treats with Rose. I want to make this a yearly getaway. The salt water pool was the icing on the cake and the bunkhouse cabin was perfect Very highly recommend

You were great guests! I hardly knew you were there! These guests actually captured one of my horses that escaped! Thankfully that is not a normal occurrence. ! Thanks for taking care of my little baby horse! We hope to see you again!
This was our secomd visit to the rustic ranch. Everything was fantastic. Rose and Jack are great hosts and do a fantastic job providing the little things that help make our stay very relaxing
Great getaway for City Slickers like us. Communication texts made check in simple and the cabin was perfect for our needs, with the pool being an added bonus. All of the animals, the sounds and smells of the farm took our minds far from the concrete jungle of Houston. Thank you Jack n Rose for sharing your piece of tranquility with us.
