Beachwalk Bungalow on Venice Island - with private access to beach.

Island living just 7 houses from the beach! This home is for beach goers! It has two bedrooms, one is oversized with a king bed and the other with a queen size bed. Both with smart TVs and new mattresses (Oct 2022). The living area has a Floridian style vibe with couch and two comfortable chairs and another smart TV. The kitchen has an eat in area for 6 and is fully stocked with blender, coffee and expresso makers etc. It has plenty of dishware and all cooking utensils. The kitchen opens onto a screened and covered lanai with new furniture. In the large back yard is an outdoor patio with large umbrella, new Weber grill and new furniture for relaxing; as well as another seating area with a chimenea.

A beach lovers' vacation paradise, just steps from a private beach entrance to gorgeous Venice Beach where the sunsets are spectacular. It is also a short distance to Sharkey's pier for fishing, dining and shark teeth hunting. Less than 5 minutes from Lake Venice Golf Club, an award winning course (voted Best Public Golf Course in Venice 2009-2018) with 27 holes. The Legacy Trail is also less than a mile away and provides you with 36 roundtrip miles of biking trails between Venice and Sarasota. And we can't forget historic downtown Venice, located within a mile and a half of the home which has great restaurants and shopping. We have provided beach chairs, 4 bikes (2 beach bikes and 2 road bikes), beach wagon, beach towels, coolers of different sizes and 2 sets of golf clubs - men's and women's right handed sets. This home has everything for a perfect Florida vacation stay.

A dog is allowed with maximum size restriction of 30 pounds and a $100 pet service charge. Water and food bowls provided. There is a carport. The brand new laundry facilities and half bath are located in a newly updated cabana adjacent to the carport.

RENTAL PERIODS: For rentals in January, February, March, only full month rentals will be accepted, i.e., with start dates on the 1st of each month through the last day of such month, e.g., January 1-31; February 1-27. For rental periods April through December 31, 5 day minimum stays required.

Island life is the best❤️

I totally loved our month at Beachwalk. The property had absolutely everything you might need for an enjoyable stay. The outside shower was at first thought a little concerning, but it actually was a great addition to our experience. The appliances were all new and easy to use. The location to the beach and downtown Venice made walking everywhere perfect. It is close to the Venice airport, but we never really heard any plane traffic. I would love to stay here again. George and his wife were great hosts. The best time ever.-Deb

Beachwalk bungalo

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Owner had a great binder with info on places to go and see in the area. From this property you could walk to a private beach pass or walk to the pier and go to the beach there. Golf was close by and you could walk to downtown and other areas. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. This was a perfect place to rent

The house is cute and is close to Venice’s many attractions. Unfortunately, the price you pay for proximity is a daily, steady, noisy traffic on Beach Rd. Beach Rd is one of two main arteries for public beach access. When you are inside, the noise is not bad, but being outside on the screened porch is unbearable. The airplane noise is tolerable.

Valerie and George live in Connecticut. Recently retired, our retirement dream was to live in our own homes in different locations throughout the US depending on the season. We were fortunate to start that dream pre-retirement with our Vermont "Treehouse" (VRBO #625601) which we acquired in 2012 (we are avid skiers). We later acquired Beachfront Waterside Getaway in Guilford, Ct in 2016 (VRBO #1006705), a quaint New England coastal town just 30 mins from New Haven and 2 hours from NYC. Most recently in June 2022, we acquired BeachWalk Bungalow on Venice Island (VRBO #3021103) and, having fallen in love with Venice, acquired Four Palms Venice in South Venice (VRBO #3260654) on February 2023. We use all our homes and we think that makes a difference in how they are maintained and decorated. We hope you enjoy your stay in one of our homes!
