**VRBO Glitch - Many of the listings in VRBO's Sundial Lodge category ARE NOT actual units at Sundial Lodge. The location of some of these units are isolated and very undesirable. The Hidden Creek units, for example, are not in the resort village at all and are located well down the hill near the day skiers parking lot. The lift that connects the area near the parking lot to the village stops running at 5:00 pm, effectively cutting off guests from the resort village shops and restaurants for the night. Conversely, Sundial Lodge is located in the heart of the resort village and adjacent to the gondola servicing the ski area. VRBO is working to correct the problem, but in the meantime I highly recommend renters to call the front desk of any property being considered to verify as much information as possible about that listing.
There can also be misleading information being offered by some renters or their management companies. For example, some of the units being offered at The Canyons are Timeshare units. Timeshare units are not assigned until check-in and are often the least desirable units. (I know someone who was supposed to get a Westgate 800' Villa, but wound up with a 300' Studio.) It's important to ask for the exact unit number of the property being considered, as well as the direct phone number to the property's front desk. This will enable you to confirm specific information through a third party about the unit, property and resort. It also helps to find out if you would be dealing with onsite (24/7) management or if you'd be dealing with some third party management company at a remote office away from the resort.

The condo is located in Sundial Lodge on the second floor. Two bedrooms and a family room with a kitchen overlooking the family room. It has a nice view of the pool offset by construction across the road. Location is king as this condo is just a short walk from dining, ski rental and lifts.
The condo is getting a bit dated with respect to furnishings yet met our needs. A closet door was hanging loosely. On the last morning of our stay, we noticed an odd odor perhaps coming from the master bedroom fireplace. We wondered if it was coming from Murdoch's which may be directly below the unit.
Overall a great location with convenience and ski/boot storage.
Super Condo! Super Location! Super Owner!
The first feature that make this condo special is the owner. Mitch has excellent communication skills and will help you every step of the way. This is the main reason we chose this condo. The condo is clean, neat, and perfect for a ski vacation. The location is right next to the Red Pine Gondola. The Sundial staff are super helpful. We especially appreciated the bellhops and ski valet attendants. Also, Mitch will give you a discount code for Park City Shuttle. Tyler will pick you up in a luxury SUV and take you right to the Sundial front door. Tyler and Mitch are top notch in my book. Stay at this condo... you will not be disappointed.
Great location/Great condo
My children and I stayed here for a mini vacation in February. The condo was perfectly appointed and the proximity to the gondola was great for the kids. Mitch made everything easy and convenient.
Our family of 4 stayed at the condo for 5 nights. Mitch is the best owner we have ever worked with. The location is excellent. There is ski and boot storage, a shuttle around the resort and an evening shuttle into Park City. It is an easy walk to the gondola and around the resort. The condo is also in a very quiet location. Our vacation was one of the best we have ever had.
The way to go Canyons skiing
4 of us stayed at the property for a week for the first time. It's nicely positioned next to the red pine gondola and a minute walk to the Orange bubble lift. The property is also close to the pool and hot tub and has views from the balcony of the pool and the mountain. Nice place to sit for a cold beer or a class of red after a day's hard work. We will be back!
Awesome property, great location!!!
Mitch and family comes through again. This is our 2nd use of this property. It would have been the third, but we came out last year last minute and it wasn't available. It has everything anyone might need to feel the comforts of home. Close to the gondola, and overlooks the heated pool and hot tub. Condo was neat and clean!!! We'll be back...
