Great little cabin.

We loved our cute Langton Cabin. It was clean and well done with an ample supply of kitchen ware. For being "off the grid" in Polebridge, we loved having the amenities of a modern home.

Lovely stay

  • 5 of 5

My family had a wonderful stay at this Polebridge cabin. So serene and quiet. Exactly what we needed. The cabin was so well stocked and had everything we would need. They thought of it all. Absolutely recommend this cabin if you're looking for a relaxing vacation off the grid a little.

Spectacular Find

  • 5 of 5

Oh my goodness!! What a spectacular find!! We just returned from our trip to Glacier National Park. The trip was outstanding & the cabin was PERFECT!!! Holy Smokes. just a 1/4 mile from the Polebridge park entrance!!! And, so very peaceful!!! It's sad (and a bit of a blessing as well) however that so few folks actually experience this part of the park & take advantage of the lovely cabin!!! It was just the right size for the 2 of us (could hold up to 4-5). Running HOT water & a full kitchen made it perfect after a long day of hiking. The view from the front porch is beautiful. The propane lighting, stove, hot water, & refrig was amazing.

Thanks again. Louise

We rented the Red Meadow cabin which is 5 mi north from Polebridge, MT. It is remote but well worth the drive!! The view from the front porch of this cabin is incredible with a rushing river and mountains that tower above. The morning sunrise... breathtaking!! The cabin is very well appointed with everything we needed (with the exception of a wine opener). Cabin was very clean and even had fresh ice made in the freezer- a nice touch since when we arrived it was 92 degrees. No detail was left out in this cabin... from extra blankets, a fishing rod in the corner and even a slingshot for the kids to have some fun with.

We spent many evenings at the river cooling off or having rock skipping contests. The Polebridge Mercantile had the best Huckleberry Macaroons and Home Ranch Bottoms had fantastic smoked pulled pork sandwich.

We hope to be back one day... thank you for sharing this slice of heaven with us!

Beautiful, Comfortable Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My fiance and I stayed here for a week last summer and had such a wonderful time! We picked up a lot of groceries before arriving so that we could just cook most of our meals there- there is a refrigerator and a stove/oven. The view is great too! After a long day of hiking or white water rafting we would cook dinner and sit out on the porch looking at the mountain. Would definitely recommend for people looking to get off the beaten track while visiting Glacier National Park. It's definitely not a lodge, but that's why we loved it.

Only two (very) minor issues: 1. It is isolated and can be a bit tricky to find. We drove past the mailbox and turned around when we got back to the park (less than 1/2 mile, so not really a big deal). I would recommend arriving before dark. 2. We hadn't noticed in the picture that there are two cabins very close to each other. It also wasn't too big of a deal because the other cabin only had people for 2 of the nights we were there, but we could hear them when we were in our cabin. I guess it just depends on how isolated you want to be.

The beauty off the beaten track

  • 5 of 5

This lodge is well equipped considering its remote location and lack of modern conveniences. It is perfect for getting away from everything and enjoying the most untouched parts of Glacier National Park. It's comfortable, homely and provides a brilliant base for exploring the North-East of the park. Just don't make the two mistakes we did: Turn up before it gets dark as it is virtually invisible even when you've taken the right turn off the road (It really needs some signage), and make sure your vehicle has plenty of ground clearance as it visiting the popular parts of the parts involves a lot of driving on unsurfaced roads..
