Centrally located in Paradise Valley. Can walk or drive to extensive (3/4 mile of riverside) community fishing access on the Yellowstone River. Quiet, but not too far from the main road. This is a clean newer home on 10 acres with a wrap around cedar deck and a large, sunny, sliding glass door. Have dinner and watch the sunset on the Absarokas and Emigrant Peak. Spectacular thundershowers can be seen across the valley. With exterior lights off there is outstanding stargazing at night. Mule deer pass through the property almost every day.
20 minutes from Livingston (with breathtaking scenery on the way), 30 minutes from Yellowstone Park, and 45 minutes from Bozeman. Chico Hot Springs is 6 miles away. The town of Emigrant (3-4 miles away) has a post office, gas station, general store, fly fishing shop, breakfast/lunch place, and the Old Saloon. Outdoor grilling available. Free wi-fi. Kid and pet friendly.

Why John Costello chose Pray
We enjoy being close to good dining in Livingston and Chico, countless fishing and hiking spots, and Yellowstone Park. The views and quiet were a big part of our decision too.
What makes this Cabin unique
It's nice to be within walking distance, or a 2 minute drive from a varied 3/4 mile community fishing access. It's a great way to finish the day.

Beautiful Cabin in Paradise Valley!
Cabin was exactly as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. Great location to everything: Yellowstone, Bozeman, trail riding and taking pics of the wildlife. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for a single couple or small family. Thanks John for a great vacation!!
Glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the review.
Perfect location , love ly cabin ,
Lovely, quiet cabin surrounded by natural beauty
My family had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! Nestled in a convenient location - just south of Livingston and north of Yellowstone Park- we found this cabin to be in the perfect location for our needs. The cabin and beds are clean and comfortable! I was also pleasantly surprised to find an outstanding reading collection with books and materials on features of the area. There are several public fishing locations along the river so be sure to pack your rod and tackle. We saw countless numbers of elk, pronghorn, and mule deer near the cabin and on Route 89. We learned of a very helpful tip if you're looking for grizzly bears: drive approximately 15 miles south and make a right turn at Tom Miner Rd heading toward Tom Miner Basin. Go over the bridge and when you come to the "T" make a left toward the campground. About eight miles down you'll see pull off areas near the pastures. We saw two grizzly bears in this location along with several photographers and wildlife viewers. I'm told on some nights there are as many as 6-8 bears in this area. Make sure to bring binoculars and cameras!
We're glad you enjoyed yourselves and saw plenty of wildlife! Thank you for the thoughtful review.
The scenery was beautiful and the home had everything you could need to enjoy your stay. It was spotless clean and very comfortable I would definitely recommend this to anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty Montana has to offer.
Thanks! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your recommendation.
Bueatiful vally home close to Yellowstone and Livingston.
Bueatiful vally home close to Yellowstone and Livingston, lots of wildlife, we deffintly want come back. Owner responds quickly, we had to stay an extra night because of something that came up, the owner was kind and very accommodating. Great place to relax, gorgeous stars at night.
Perfect house, incredible views
We had a great stay here this August. Wonderful house, fit us (family of four) like a glove, felt like home really. Very clean and nicely done. Comfortable beds & all the amenities you'll need. Plus no need to bring any condiments (they're in the fridge)! The very best part though was the outside: views and mountain air. We'd just sit on the deck and gaze.
When staying, be sure to visit The Old Saloon + Flying Pig in Emigrant. Excellent food & ambiance.
