Smith lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the country and this home is the perfect place to enjoy it. Legacy By The Lake is located in Arley, AL, which is a wonderfully quiet little town to escape to. The home is nestled on a secluded street off the main road to town, so it’s easy to get to but away from it all.

Legacy By The Lake has 4 spacious bedrooms and 2.5 baths. There's a pool table & arcade game in the game room downstairs, board games and outdoor games like corn hole, and a variety of books. There’s entertainment for the entire family but there’s also plenty of space to relax and enjoy the scenery. The home has a relaxing screened in porch off the den upstairs and a full outdoor dining area off the game room downstairs. There's also a private dock so you can enjoy the lake right in your back yard. The kitchen is fully stocked, so you never have to leave the property. There are also some great little local restaurants if you want to eat out. This lakefront home has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time away from the hustle & bustle of life!

Exceptional and a perfect getaway!

We traveled with two families (including 5 boys) and it was absolutely perfect for us! It was so nice, the beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was perfect. The fire pit stole the show, and it was a great couple of days on the lake and the kids had a blast! The host was amazing and so helpful!

Very nice property for our family rental. Beautiful lot and screened-in porch overlooking the lake that will make you never want to leave! Very clean property with plenty of space to relax. Highly recommend the property. We will definitely go back!

Nice Place

Plenty of room for my family and my sister's family. Our boys (ranging from 16-21yrs old) really enjoyed the pool table and relaxing down by the water. Be ready for a leg work out - it is 113 stairs down to the dock. We had a really good time.

9 of us got away for a weekend at Smith Lake. It's a miraculous feat for 9 Moms to get away at the same time and this house fit all our needs. It was well appointed, comfortable and such a beautiful setting. We had the best time and would come back again and again.

What a perfect place! We were so impressed with this lake house! The beds were so comfortable! And so many pillows!!! We loved all the little touches that made it even more special! Like every kitchen gadget imaginable!! The soaps were from bath and body works! The outdoor spaces were comfy and a perfect place to drink your morning coffee and the fire pit was a nice place to unwind! The place is perfect for weekend getaway with friends!

We had the most wonderful time this weekend. The neighborhood was 2 easy turns from interstate. The home was furnished and decorated beautifully. The outside living area was so perfect, and the lake was so relaxing. Perfect set up for kids, teens, or friends. Ample space for everything. So many personal touches. It felt like home. Owner had great communication. Highly recommend.

Best STR experience!

My family and I usually stay in 2 or 3 STRs a year and this was one of our best experiences in a rental to date! I’m going to list the reason below: 1. The rental was decorated incredibly well with high quality furnishings. Your typical STR has uncomfortable ikea furniture and beds, but this one had very nice, comfortable furniture. 2. Well stocked kitchen! There are a lot of pots, pans, plates, and utensils making cooking enjoyable. 3. Host offered us an early checkin and late checkout which was very helpful. 4. Big towels and comfortable blankets which made the stay feel like home. 5. We were at the fire pit every night and they provided chopped wood. This place felt like being at home and we will definitely be coming back!

We wanted to provide other families with an easy place to vacation with a kid-friendly home, from the games to the kid plates in the kitchen. But we didn't want to skip the upscale style. We wanted to create a space that the entire family would enjoy. We wanted others to make lake memories that we've enjoyed making.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property as soon as we saw it. It has a perfect view of the lake in a very quiet area. We knew this was a place that we would want to vacation with our family and we wanted to share it with others.

What makes this property unique

This home has a luxurious feel, while being family-friendly at the same time. We wanted everyone to feel welcome and comfortable the minute they walk in the door.
