Welcome to your Getaway - A dog friendly home where you can relax and soak up the peacefulness. Enjoy this cozy but spacious cottage during your stay. The home is not lakefront You will have whole house access, a large backyard, plenty of parking, and a fenced in yard. Create a lifetime of memories with your loved ones or by yourself fishing, swimming, biking and playing games! Enjoy tranquil mornings drinking your coffee on our spacious deck and relaxing evenings with the outdoor fire-pit. Perfect for a quick relaxing long weekend or a week-long retreat.

The space inside:
We've gone to great lengths to ensure your comfort and convenience during your home away from home stay. This property has everything you need.
Comfortable sleeping arrangements that include a queen size bed with newer memory foam mattress in the 1 bedroom, a full size Murphy bed with new memory foam mattress in the semi private area from the rest of the home, and an air mattress. Sleeps 4 people comfortably. All bedding and extra blankets included for your comfort.

The fully-furnished kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, including baking sheets, silverware, pots and pans, dishes, cutting boards, blender, toaster, crock pot, toaster oven, drinking glasses, coffee cups, wine and margarita glasses,. a drip coffee maker, Keurig K-cup brewer, seasonings, and dishwasher You can enjoy your meals on the deck with our propane grill offering perfect outdoor dining or at the bar top table that seats 4 and is also a great place to play games.

Your home away from home has High Speed Internet, TV with Roku device, with access to all your favorite streaming services, and a surround sound speaker and sound bar.

You will find a larger, newer renovated bathroom with plenty of space including a full size vanity and large walk-in shower with linens. A full size washer and dryer are available on site if needed.

The space outside:
Plenty of room awaits you outside! You can play games in the big backyard like cornhole and other games you will find in the shed. Have a campfire and relax in Adirondack chairs for the evening. There is a propane grill to cook on and plenty of deck space to enjoy coffee or a meal. The backyard is fenced in to keep your dogs in close distance.

Nevins Lake is great fishing in the summer and ice fishing when the lake freezes over. There is a public access close by.

The shed has yard games, life vests and floating seats for the 4 kayaks, outdoor chairs, summer fishing poles and fun floats.

The cottage is nestled on a private road in the rural small and very laid back lake community. There is enough parking for 4 to 5 vehicles. Enjoy walking and biking through the low traffic areas.

About the lake:
Nevins Lake is an all sports lake and a trout fishing destination. The DNR drops between 1000 and 1100 Rainbow trout each year. The lake also has Bluegill, Crappie, Yellow Perch, Pike, and Largemouth Bass. Nevins Lake is approximately 90 feet at its deepest point and is approximately 53 sq. acres. There is a public boat launch but no dock. There is no beach area at the lake.
