Pristine St Johns River Waterfront Home with Dock and Boat slip

This pristine area is located on the St. Johns River in the heart of the Ocala Forest. Imagine a drift in time to a Florida that few experience. Gentle breezes & fresh sweet air with the hint of blossoms smells from some far off grove hidden in the dense tropical forest. Canoeing with such a vast variety of birds too many to name. Alligators patrolling the shores looking for fish peeking from under the water hyacinths. Sounds of nature like a symphony to hear.

You will find small finger canals leading into the St.Johns River where the water becomes crystal clear.. with springs and incredible snorkeling opportunities. If you like fishing...Largemouth Bass, Crappers & other pan fish are in abundance...

We have board games , tv in each bedroom & den

Amenities: . Boat dock, sauna , and canoe are not part of the rental no extra charge for use but as if not working there is no refund,

We do repair things asap but have no control of how fast someone comes., so I do not charge for their use .

Beautiful scenery. Excellent location to the local race track. Driving distance to Deland also. Shower was hi-tech! Appreciated it once we figured it out though!

Host was very accommodating. Beautiful piece of property with great views. Large and rooming. The home did need to be deep cleaned. Car port and porches cleaned up and decluttered. Minor repairs to cabinets and dresser drawers plus all the lights should work. Owners need to do a walk thru and fix all the minor things to make this 5 star.

This place has everything you need. Greats beds, terrific showers and a well stocked kitchen. It’s perfect and the views are stunning. We enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure.

Family Outing

Location right on St Johns River. Good for fishing. Large home, plenty of room for family group. Couple of nice restaurants close by to eat. Friendly neighborhood

Nice location, lots of potential, needs some work

The house is well kept and the location is great. The owners were quick to respond and friendly (although I didn't need to be reminded 3 times what time the checkout was) Only real issues were when I rented it, it was listed with a hot tub (they have since pulled that down) that was not functional when I got there. And the house does still have water damage from flooding. They are currently still working on the house and hopefully will be repaired in the near future.

Sorry about the Reminders I just wanted to make sure we have the house ready I usually do not do check in and out the same day I was trying to make everyone happy I have had incidences where people did not check out on time and went out and did not come back until early evening so I was worried But it will not happen again Hot tub was taken off over a year ago

Nothing less than perfect

I cannot say enough about our stay. We traveled with 6 teens from 12-20 and they are already planning our next trip. The location is perfect close to the springs, state parks and only 30 minutes to Daytona Beach. Spent the majority of our time on the lawn watching the river, the kids fish, the manatees play and even the alligator. The house had plenty of room for all 8 of us and the beds are like sleeping on a cloud. We didn't want to leave so we stayed an extra night. The host is amazing! Must try Williams Landing for dinner, it was fabulous . Overall for the price you couldn't ask for anything more. We will definitely be back again!

Nice view of River

First, I will start with the good. Denise was very friendly and easily accessable. Somehow, we accidently locked one of the bathroom doors and couldnt get back in and Denise sent someone to help us out so i appreciated that. The kitchen was well stocked with nice countertops and upgraded appliances. However, the cleanliness could have been much better. Spider webs were on light fixture in dining area and porches were pretty cluttered. Saw three cockroaches but luckily they were dead so its obviously been sprayed. There wasn't enough lighting in the home. Multiple bulbs were blown so that was disappointing. And lastly, no power at boat dock or fish cleaning area. We ran a water hose to the sink in the boat house to clean our fish. The location was great and it does have very nice views but not sure it was worth the unfortunately.

Disgusting meth trap

This property looks good from the picture but everything is broken. Half missing wall pepper leaking roof and porches the furniture is broken and made to look intact. The house smells like cat urine. The grill was bungeed together and as soon as I touched it, it fell apart. The Sauna and Hot tub are not usable the showers are moldy and if you rock them they will cause a leak the walls in the master bathroom are bowed form water damage with paneling put over to hide. the cabinets are falling apart with paper over them so you don’t see the rot in the wood. The back porch unusable with old broken furniture cat food, and animal traps. The couches are scratched up and smell like at urine. I cleaned for 3 days upon arrival. If you have small children. DO NOT bring them here I had to install latches on all the doors as none of them close properly. Cabinets are missing doors windows have pieces of foam filling the gaps where they don’t close. The gates are loose and not safe for animals to be in the yard alone. Then the host will make you pay for their home thats falling apart.

I n 40 years I have only twice keep a security deposit Everyone loves this house because you lost your deposit you write this malicious report. My staff arrived right after you left and was shocked at how you left my home the damage exceded $500 deposit. I spoke to you a few times and each time you said how much you loved it there and was so happy you could entertain family members. the only thiing you stated was that your 2 year old pulled over our 5 burner propane grill ?? I immediately ordered a new one which you said you did not need. I asked that you please put it in the carport but when my staff arrived it was gone as well as the propane tank . my instructions ask if you move anything put it back.Every bedroom including beds and heavy cabinets were moved scratched the new water proo f laminted floors I put in. My staff took pictures of everything . One bedroom the bed was broken and two lamps there one side table was wobbily pencil shoved into the stand up fan control. everything broken NOT three of the porches had all new furniture one end glass table was missing suana is fine just needs to be plugged in jacuzzi was taken off amenities Showers are incredible state of the art not full of mold but staff found them a mess no more than one person at a time you were warned I could go on and on but am truly disappointed

Nice locatio

My wife and I enjoyed are stay. Location could have used a more thorough cleaning before we arrived but Denise was gracious when responding to that concern and I realize that cleaning personnel can sometimes get lax. Overall the property and price was very nice.

Location

We had a great time while staying at this property. It was a guys trip and the most important things for us are location on the river, a good place to park our boats, and a comfortable place to eat and sleep. This house had all of that.

This home is lovely. The large window in the living room which overlooks St. John's River is majestic. Communication was fabulous and the home is great. Comfortable beds and plenty of room. Would stay again.

Quaint house on the river

The house was very eclectic with a mix of new upgrades, and older touches. The outside space was amazing. I fell in love with the huge window that looks out on the river. Using the steam showers were great, I felt like I was stepping into a time machine!! Everything was comfortable and we had a very enjoyable stay!
