Comfortable Accommodations...
Often referred to as a European 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo, this condo is actually a one bedroom unit which sleeps 5. In the master bedroom there is a queen size bed, as well as a love seat which folds open to a single bed (if needed). This bedroom has a TV, as well as an attached master bath.

What makes this a European 2 bed 2 bath is the queen size murphy bed, which folds down from the wall into the living room (NOT A FOLD OPEN COUCH). This is the only place my wife and I sleep when we go there - if we have guests, they sleep in the master bedroom, and we enjoy the fireplace and TV with the spectacular view of the mountain without even lifting my head off the pillow.

Experience the fabulous, sunny view of skiers descending Vail mountain out your third floor living room window or walkout balcony. The living room features a no-hassle gas fireplace, log beams in the ceiling, media center with HDTV and a music player. Enjoy the benefits of a fully furnished kitchen with dining area and new polished tile floors.


After a day on the slopes, relax in one of 2 outdoor hot tubs, and take a dip in the outdoor heated pool. Enjoy the on-site game room with a shuffle board, TV area and handy snack machines, as well as the convenience of your reserved underground parking space. The elevator makes the trip to your 3rd floor condo painless. There is a laundry facility on the property as well. Everything you need for a memorable mountain vacation!

Perfect Location and Host

The wren is the perfect location at Vail (with a free parking spot) - close to shops and an easy shuttle ride to the slopes. The hot tub and pool were awesome! Ted provided us with everything we needed so we were able to just relax and have a great vacation.

Perfect Mountain Get-away!

We really enjoyed this property and Ted was great to work with. You can hear the river rushing outside and there are so many great things in walking distance from Vail Village to the Betty Ford Gardens to hiking trails and the Ford Ampitheater.

Property was well located and as advertised. The shuttle to the slopes was well organized to minimize walking. The place had a great view of the mountain and the additional entities were great (heated pool, hot tub and social room).

Beautiful!

A beautiful time to be in Vail with the fall colors and the view from the balcony was fantastic! The property is a short walk from the restaurants and shopping and we took Ted’s advice on two of the restaurants - Sweet Basil and La Tour - both excellent. Everything was perfect including the check in information and directions. We hope to be back again in the future!

We had a great stay. It is one of the best equipped condos that we've rented. The kitchen is well stocked and they do a great job taking care of the little things like shampoo, soap, tissues and plenty of towels. It is a short walk to Vail Village or you can take a private shuttle which runs much of the day. Definitely recommend to others!

Everything was great. Our group really enjoyed the view of the mountain from the balcony. Also we really enjoyed being able to walk to the lifts to start our day, and then be able to walk to vail village in the evening for dinner.

Stay Here in Vail

Ted's property is beautifully appointed and has wonderfully upgraded bathrooms, kitchen, shelving and other accomodations. The Wren has a convenient shuttle that runs to Golden Peak, Vail Village, and Lion's Head. 10 min walk to Vail village isn't bad when the wind isn't howeling in the winter. Winter weather prevented us from leaving and we had to stay one night in another room that was more expensive and not nearly as nice. Ted for the win!

It's a great condo

The views from living room are amazing and the art is beautiful! Ted is a very nice person. He is thoughtful and tries hard to make people stayed at the condo more convenient, easy, and comfortable. For example, he has quarters in the closet for laundry (even though I did not realize just before we left). Really appreciate it.

Beautiful and perfect!

This was our first visit to Vail. The Wren was the perfect location and views from this Condo were breathtaking. The condo was so clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. Beds were very comfortable. We had another couple with us, even though there is only one bedroom and a Murphy bed in living room, we never felt crowded. Plenty of room to unpack and store stuff while there. The pictures and description on VRBO was exactly correct. The owner communicated with us after our booking and sent us lots of helpful information on the condo and area. Weather was perfect as well. Highly recommend this condo. My husband and I hope to go back to Vail and would book this place again.

Exceeded expectations!

We were so impressed by Ted’s beautiful condo. It was wonderfully appointed with plenty of space to stretch out. We LOVED the shower in the hallway bathroom-A+! We were also so impressed with the communication leading up to our stay. Ted was such a wonderful host who clearly takes pride in knowing Vail backwards and forwards. The location was perfect. The 5 minute walk to town was our favorite thing to do each day. The photos just don’t do Gore Creek justice! We would recommend this condo to anyone and hope to come back again!

Pictures don’t even do it justice!

Upon entering the condo and seeing it, we were SO thrilled to be staying there. The views were spectacular, and the creek that runs along the backside was really peaceful. It was spacious enough for all 4 of us, and it definitely felt cozy like home. Furthermore, this was one of the cleanest properties that I’ve ever stayed in. Ted was so kind and helpful, and provided us with instructions as to how to get around, as well as how to use the amenities in the condo. Overall 10/10 stay and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to be close to Vail Village, but away from hustle and bustle of things. We will definitely be going back and renting this condo again!

Location, Location, Location!!! Loved the Wren!

We loved everything about our stay at this property. As advertised, the condo is located at the edge of downtown Vail, with a beautiful path along Gore Creek for a short walk to everything. We liked this location because you are away from the mass crowds but can be anywhere in a 5-10 min. walk. We were here over the Christmas/New Years week and the condo had views of the Light display at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and we watched the Vail fireworks display from the deck -- incredible! The view from the deck of the mountain and creek is better than the pictures show. The Wren shuttle service to Golden Peak is another huge asset. It ran like clockwork and we never waited longer than 5 minutes - and this was peak season. Golden Peak lift is much less crowded than the downtown Gondola 1 so we were on the mountain within 15 minutes of leaving our condo. The condo itself is well-appointed and super clean. It had full kitchen amenities, which made it easy to prepare meals. We also enjoyed use of the pool (which was kept at 91 degrees in winter -- very nice) and the hottubs. The Wren staff keep everything clean and working well. Overall, a fantastic family vacation. We would stay here again!!

Exceeded Expectations!

We were genuinely impressed by how much this condo exceeded our expectations during our January stay. The concept of a Murphy bed in the main room as a second bedroom was new to us, and our assumption was that this implied a somewhat smaller living space in general. This was not the case! The main livingroom was incredibly spacious with a nice couch, coffee table, and reclining chair, all of which could be used comfortably even with the bed down. My wife and I slept in the living room in front of the fire while our nine-year-old son had the master suite to himself. Everyone was happy and slept well. The bathrooms were very well stocked and the entire place has been updated so it felt more like a hotel and less like a condo. The hot tub and swimming pool facilities were very easy to access and use as well. These are shared amenities among the building, although our family always had one of the two hot tubs to ourselves and it was never loud in the evening. As for access to the lifts, we were very close. Our son and I wore our snowboarding boots for the 10-minute walk to Gondola 1, and my wife chose to carry her ski boots and use one of the lockers near Gondola 1 to store her walking boots for the day. The building also had its own shuttle that would take us over to Lionshead Village if we ever wanted to start there as well. Super easy. We love staying here. This will be our first choice when we come back. If you are considering renting this place, do it! You'll love it too.

Why they chose this property

We have owned property in the Vail Valley since 1986, and finally in 2002 we upgraded and purchased a place closer to the center of all the action so we could walk to the lift and all the resturants. It makes such a difference not having to drive or wait for a bus.
