Ahhh… It is Time to Relax. Listen & you will hear, “The Ocean is Calling & I must Go”.



Part of Relaxing is just playing & having fun. This cottage has lots of options to do just that for kids & adults alike. Outside, enjoy the ambiance of a Fire Pit any time of year. Ride the golf cart to the beach. Let the kiddies play in a pool just their size. The Beach Access is a short distance from the Cottage. Locally you can even rent Bicycles & Golf Carts. There are lots of Beach Toys to entertain the kids at the water’s edge. You will find Beach Chairs & an Umbrella for you to Relax with your toes in the sand. When you return, rinse off the salt in the Outdoor Shower (Hot/Cold). Choose your menu to include something grilled because there’s nothing like a meal cooked on a Charcoal Grill. Enjoy that meal Al Fresco on the Picnic Table (also a spot to play one of many games provided) & enjoy reading one of the Beach Reads with your coffee or glass of wine on the Front Porch.



Inside is for Relaxing & having Fun too! A large coffee table is ideal for a puzzle or a game. If you’re a Gamer, play one of the provided games on the PlayStation. A Large Screen Smart TV will give you access to streaming your favorite Movies or TV Shows.



The Fully Stocked Kitchen is open to the Living & Dining areas. The Kitchen Bar gives the cook someone to entertain them or another spot to play a game. Small Appliances include: Hand Mixer, Crock Pot, Toaster, Blender, Brew & Keurig Coffee Pots.



This cottage sleeps 6 in the 3 Bedrooms & an additional 2 on the Air Mattress. The Primary Bedroom (King) has a Smart TV & an EnSuite with a Double Vanity & a Tub/Shower Combination. # 2 (Queen) & #3 (Queen) share a Hall Bath with a Tub/Shower Combination. All the Bedrooms have Closets & Dressers to unpack. Washer & Dryer are provided.



Before you depart, Sign a Shell & leave it to find in the jar on your next visit! It is Time to Relax because “Life is Simply Better at the Beach”.



Golf Cart Will be available for use starting May 1st



The Oak Island Town Council voted to approve paid parking on the island. The paid parking will be in effect from April 1 through September 30th and the hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Please visit the towns site for details on how and where to secure your parking.

We had a wonderful time for Labor Day weekend! The Golf cart was such an added bonus to get to the beach and local shops / restaurants. The house was clean and spacious, the kitchen was stocked well with plates, silverware, pots etc. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a great property with quick access to the beach. The golf cart was an added bonus as we never really drove our vehicle because we could take the golf cart everywhere! The house had plenty of space and a lot of added items like beach toys, chairs, and games! We would definitely stay at this property again!

this is a pleasant family trip

We had a good time in this house during the memorial day weekend! The house is clean, kitchen is well functioned and equipped, and beds are comfortable. itrip personnel is very helpful and quick. We experienced an issue with sink disposal, and the guy (sorry I forgot the name) came very fast and fixed it. I would like to come again.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The golf cart was key! The beds were comfy and the location to the beach was excellent because it was a straight shot to beach access. We had a few issues that the property manager offered to take care of in a timely manner. We would stay again! Just in case anyone is curious:All bedrooms are equipped with TVSThere are tons of chairs and sand toysGood water pressure and internet

Great Beach Rental

We rented this nice island home from mid January to Mid March. Can't say enough about how great our stay was. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking tools, sharp knives and multiple pots and pans. Just like home! The best part is the ocean is right at the end of the street. This home has a big back yard with a fire pit to complete your stay!

Weekend getaway

This was a great central location, not far from beach. Home was clean and comfortable for two of us. Not sure the living room would accommodate 6 adults. Carpeting needs to be replaced as it is a tripping hazard

This was a perfect stay for our family. The check-in process was very well communicated, easy, and worked without issue. The place was extremely clean, well stocked and exactly as described. The fact that there were no steps into the house wasn’t a thing we even thought about— but unloading the car was SO easy. The golf cart was an absolutely amazing add on— and so easy to use, access, and drive. With the included parking pass (for the golf cart), we never had far to walk at all for the beach as there was easy beach access and parking for the cart. We only moved the car once!! The kids LOvED this (and I did, too). The air condition along was cold, the water pressure was good in the showers. It was great. A small issue was easily communicated— and I was so impressed with how quickly my inquiry was responded to and addressed. The kitchen had all the things we needed… and this may sound weird, but there was a good can opener. (This tends to be a kitchen item that either is missing, or is broken). That attention to detail is awesome. Highly recommend!!

Fine beach house

Master suite a little dated- carpet and bed in master needs replaced. House could use a little table on the back patio. Overall, a nice place and only a 5 min bike ride/12 min walk to the beach. House was spotless and accurately described in listing.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great time here. Before our arrival, the property manager informed us that the AC unit was acting up. They fixed it but then it stopped working again. The house definitely got warm but the property manager responded as soon as possible with window AC units for all the rooms in order to keep us cool for the duration of our stay (it was very hot out so we were extremely grateful). Can’t express how great the communication was with the property manager. Great location and the golf cart made the whole experience that much better!

Great OKI house!

We love visiting OKI and decided on this house for a quick 4 day weekend. Loved the location - quiet, but not far from the action. The golf cart came in very handy! And the resident parking pass meant you could park in any of the paid spots free of charge. It would have been nice to have one more bedroom with a TV so my son could play videogames in his own room (he brought his xbox, even tho there was a playstation!). Otherwise, we would definitely stay again! Who knows - we may be back before the summer is over! P.S. Don't forget to get donuts from Scoops! A fan fav!

Great house for a family. Was clean and well stocked when we arrived. The location is great because it's a few blocks from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The golf cart made it easy to get to and from the beach. Would definitely stay again.
