Great place to get away!

This cabin was perfect for us. Very neat and clean and lots of riom for the 4 of us. Beds were very comfortable! Steve was very friendly and helpful.

Great place to get away.

Everything was a breeze from booking to checking out. The property owners were great. Very nice place. We stayed for our daughters softball tournament in Nashville. If we play there again next year we will definitely be trying to stay again.

Quiet and pretty location

Cabin was clean and spacious. Very quiet and peaceful area. Kids enjoyed paddle boat. Wish it had been a little warmer to enjoy a campfire as well. Late checkout was greatly appreciated!!!

Family vacation

What a beautiful property. It was so relaxing and quite. Located perfectly on a lake. The owner was wonderful. We were coming into town very late and he had everything ready for us. We had a wonderful time and would certainly stay there again.

Great for Families!

The property was “more” than it appeared to be in pics! While it is not “flashy,” it has a cabin feel…very clean, well stocked, quiet area. Owner is on site and very hospitable!

Great getaway

Comfortable and clean house that has everything you need. Nice distance from Nashville to be out of the city yet still close enough to stores, mini-golf and several restaurants. The property is very private and quiet with limited traffic. The Gallatin Marina is close by and great to rent a pontoon from and see more of the river, plus a great place to eat at Awedaddy's. Steve is a wonderful host and ensured we had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week. There were some baby turtles in the water by the dock which were really cute to see. Water was nice, so major currents and easy to paddle on. Would recommend for family and friends!

Perfect retreat for our family!

Everything was so wonderful at Herons Landing. Our family arrived in the evening and got to wake up to such a beautiful view! We had every age group with us and we each truly enjoyed ourselves to the fullest! We hope to have more time next year to start a fall tradition! The property owners are kind and welcoming! It was very relaxing and peaceful, we didn’t want to leave the property. But, if there was anything we wanted to do it was close by. The owners had information on all things near the property. We brought our kayaks and they had paddle boats there, from 2-62 years old everyone got to be on the water and explore! There really are not enough words or pictures to explain, but of all the different trips we’ve made in our family... this property allowed us time to really reconnect and relax together!

Enjoy The Little Things!!

Easy to find!! Very friendly welcoming owner available if you needed anything!! The cabin was very very clean and cozy with all the comforts of home!! The owners take pride in their cabins with all the details to make it enjoyable!! There is a charcoal grill on the back porch... I wish there was a gas grill instead. We ate out all weekend in the surrounding areas! For this cabin you had to walk to the lake and there was a shared fire pit (with another cabin) and some paddle boats to use. We brought our own wood, but there was some wood there. Great area to fish or relax down by the water!! We went back and forth to Nashville a few times! Close to mount Juliet also for restaurants and stores! We enjoyed the inside wood burning fire place!! Only wish wish item was a hot tub:) Overall a beautiful cabin and location and we are glad we stayed here and can't wait to return when we are back in this area again! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin!! Until next time!!

Absolutely wonderful cabin for a relaxing break

Wonderful cabin with beautiful views of the lake. Quiet and peaceful. The cabin is so comfortable with everything you would need for a great holiday, very comfy beds, all kitchen appliances, lovely swing on the porch to relax in! Would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon. Owner Steve is just lovely, very friendly and informative. Had a fabulous time!

Amazing Old Hickory Lake Cabin

From the moment we turned into the drive to the property I knew this was going to be a great weekend. The home is across from the water and the view is amazing. There is a common area in front of the water to access for Kayaks or water toys. The owner even provides a paddle boat, When we woke up the first morning to the view, we were so elated at our good fortune in finding this gem to rent.
