Easy to get to the beach and dining areas. Very clean unit and convenient location.

The unit was really nice. Upscale vibe. Beautiful view out the living room and off the deck. There are two completely separate units, so maximum privacy between the two bedrooms. The upper unit is nicer - ocean view vs jungle view, and the upper unit has a separate living room and bigger kitchen - but for a family or for two couples, it's a great two-bedroom setup. The management company is AWESOME. Extremely responsive, will fix anything within 20 minutes - INCLUDING my glasses which lost a screw and Carlos from the company came with a glasses repair kit in the evening and spent 20 minutes fixing them! I mention this because it was so over the top, I was blown away. We would definitely come back. It is a steep walk up to the property, so you can walk it and get your steps in, or rent a golf cart, or snag cabs in town for 5. It's a nice little neighborhood, to get to the beach you do have to walk down the hill and then down a busyish road for 5 minutes. However, that's the tradeoff in Sayulita - you can be on the hill and away from the noise and have the views, or you can be in town and have noise and no view LOL. When I come back to Sayulita, I'll definitely be staying here!

Ugly neighborhood but once in, a fantastic place. It was small but ok! The location is close to all. The pool area is dantastic and expised to full sun. I am hoping that something bigger is also available to rent. Perjaps a one or even two bedroom. It was right next to our all time favorite place to order chicken. I have know the owner for years. Clean, artsy and everything you need

We had an excellent stay. The bed was very comfortable and staff nice to work with. Air conditioner is a plus and central location was fun! We did not realize the night life in the area would be so loud until a week before our stay. I used ear plugs and white noise to manage that. The hotel is a darling little place from which to enjoy Sayulita!

This is a great little spot a couple blocks from downtown and the beach. Located on the South end of the town it's close to everything and the place itself is clean, spacious, and well kept.

Casa Makawe is a newly built property that we thought was very nicely done and decorated. The location is excellent in that you are just about 2 blocks from the main square of Sayulita so it is an easy walk to restaurants (2min) and the beach (5min) but far enough that we did not find it noisy at night at all. The cobblestone road outside is directly below the outside balconies and it has periodic car traffic and a lot of foot/bike/moped traffic. It provides a lively feel more so than an annoyance in our opinion. But if you're looking for something very peaceful and quiet during the day/evening this property might not be for you. Aaron the property owner was available at all hours and responded to any requests that we had almost immediately via texting. The kitchen was minimally stocked with pots/pans and utensils, but enough for us to cook breakfasts in the morning. The fridge was large and held all the groceries we picked up on our way over from Vallarta. Great bathroom with a large shower and a separate toilet from the vanity area. All in all a great place to stay and one we would return to as well.
