This was a great place to stay for a ski vacation. With Epic passes, we skied all major resorts in a week. Everything you need is available at this condo.
Beautiful apartment in Rockies incredibly well located to ski all the major ski fields inc Breck, Keystone, Vail, Copper and Beaver. Hosts were fantastic to deal with and extremely quick to respond with any questions or queries. Also very well priced given the area. Highly recommend
Our family had an awesome time on our annual ski trip. Our accommodations were wonderful!! Everything we needed was provided. It was nice that the owners were in contact with us to let us know they were available if we needed anything. Would definitely rent this place again next year!!
Liz's property truly is perfect for a trip to Summit County! Because it is so centrally located, we were easily able to ski 3 different resorts over the weekend, all while enjoying the amenities of town and watching the traffic trying to get back to Denver. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and Liz worked hard to ensure that we knew all of the features and offerings of the condos. We would happily stay here again!
We loved staying here and can't wait to do it again in the future! Primary bed was very comfortable (didn't use the others), the water was hot, the home clean, and the kitchen had every gizmo you need for a wonderful time away. Providing dry firewood was a nice touch as when we stay in the mountains it's often either bring your own wood or damp from storage on the patio. Makes lighting so much easier when it's thoroughly dry.
The unit was clean, well equipped and comfortable. There was a winter storm the day we arrived, and the owners contacted us en route to make sure we were OK. Silverthorne is a great base for ski trips. It is a few minutes from Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper Mountain. We took easy day trips to Vail and Beaver Creek. We never got around to using the fireplace or the clubhouse. I would certainly stay there again.
overall good experience, conversation with Liz/host about all the details and recommendations is a plus. what i loved the most is full cotton bedding, cleanliness and Dish network w/acces to premium channels.
Space for Improvement - better quality of pots and pans, dish detergent liquid with separate scrubber and last but least body wash in both bathrooms
Fabulous serene retreat high above town. We arrived in a snow storm, and could barely see past the balcony railing. The next morning under a gorgeous blue sky we could see all across the forest to the mountains beyond. Stunning!
The condo had absolutely everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We’d go back in a minute.
Lovely owners, lovely place.
I had a great time here; this complex is situated in one of the best spots in town. The views are breathtaking, and the wildlife and wilderness abound. You can hike straight from the condo onto a trail that that can be described as quintessentially Colorado, and the whole vicinity is a hiker's paradise. Since there wasn't another reservation slotted next to mine the owners allowed me to come a few hours early and stay much later, to help me avoid I 70 traffic, just because it was a nice thing they could do for me.
This place reminded me of why I moved to Colorado, I hope to be back soon.
Lovely apartment with an incredible view. Easy drive to Keystone (25 min), Breckenridge (35min), and Vail (45min).
Liz and Margaret are lovely hosts, very attentive and easy to communicate with.
The apartment has everything labeled and organized, it is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Things that could be improved are the shower curtains, and some decluttering; although my kids loved the old radios!
The swimming pool is a stroll from the apartment, crossing the parking lot and a set of stairs, which during winter is not so practical.
The overall value is excellent, and I'd definitely stay there again!

Silverthorne Vacation Rental
We rented this 2 bedroom condo for five adults and two toddlers for the week before Christmas! The condo was very homelike and cozy! We had everything we could possible need provided. We cooked all our own meals and the kitchen was stocked with every gadget known to man. :-) The only issue we had was with the company that cleared (or didn't clear) the parking lot. If we would have only had a car and not two 4-wheel drive SUV's we would have been in trouble. That, however, has nothing to do with the actual condo. Ellen called and checked on us after we arrived to make sure everything was okay and responded promptly when I called her about the parking lot snow situation. We will definitely rent this unit in the future!!

Thank you for the nice review and I'm glad the condo pleased you. -Ellen
Great views from the balcony, really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. Overall we enjoyed the stay and I'm only highlighting some of the issues so that others can be informed of what is actually in the condo. The listing isn't wrong, but there are a few gotchas. There is a newer TV, stove and a Keurig, and the interior furniture functions, but is tired and old. Dressers were full of old clocks and random household goods that needed to be removed and we had to live out of our suitcases for the week due to lack of storage space. Toilets were very old, small and sat very close to the floor which made it very uncomfortable to use. Hot tub/pool in the clubhouse is not close and difficult to get to on foot in the winter. There is no washer and dryer in the condo, they are co-located with the hot tub and pool which is again difficult to reach by foot in the winter.
The property is as described and pictured. We had a wonderful stay with no issues and great communication with owners. We enjoyed the view and saw moose on the trail behind the condo and a fox in the parking lot.
The property was immaculate, the view was breathtaking and the property owner, Liz wa amazing. I will definitely stay here again. On top of all of that the location was perfect. Close to everything.
Gorgeous views in quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Well supplied with enough space in condo to not feel like you're on top of others. Loved master suite with separate bath for 2nd bedroom. Communicative hosts who want you to feel comfortable
Easy and easy out. All the cabinets are marked and labeled which was terrific for cleanup. Place needs nothing it was very convenient. Great time thank you
The view would be enough for me to tell you to book this place- but there's more! The layout is great, kitchen fully stocked, 5 minutes from anything you could need. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. I even used the laundry facilities with no issues, never even heard any neighbors through the walls or ceiling. Liz was super communicative before our visit as well. Did I mention the views? I spent hours out on that balcony! We hiked Lily Pad Pond (just down the street) and saw a moose! Incredible experience. We weren't thrilled by the carpet in a rental bathroom, and the keys/lockbox took some extra wiggling/tries to get into the condo- everything else was just fabulous. To be able to stay someplace with those gorgeous surroundings and still be so close to amenities was a rare find. I can see why other reviewers have returned to this place over and over again. You won't regret renting here!
The view off the deck really is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property owners are extremely helpful and communicative.
