Cozy & Comfortable 1 bedroom home in a wooded area and quiet neighborhood. Kitchen stocked with everything. Bathroom Shower with window up high at forehead level-nice breeze & beautiful trees. Awesome gas fireplace w/remote - my dog loved curling up on the cooler evenings. He also loved the fenced in yard. So convenient! Automatic motion light out front & string of lights, charming. Lots of Spanish influence on the houses in this historic area; and Lots of deer! Family of deer in the ravine behind house, saw them daily. Can walk to downtown bakery, Trader Joe’s, & some restaurants. Very close to both Carmel & Pacific Grove (4-5 miles). Hiking at Veterans Park (1.5 miles). The mattress was a bit too soft for me but room was comfy. The dryer does not work (just makes the clothes warm but they’re still wet). It’s a washer that’s a dryer too, so there’s no lint removal. And it’s noisy. I just hung clothes outside to dry. I enjoyed seeing fighter jets now & then. Bugle alerts from Presidio Military Base (1/2 mile) were unique to the area & grew on me during my stay. They sound off at 7:00 a.m., 5:00 & 10:00 p.m. When fog is dense, barely audible. Loved the cooler climate & great location.
