Casa Bela Vista, Quinta da Saudade, amazing ocean view

Casa Bela Vista has superb panoramic views over the blue ocean, the gold sandy dunes and Salgados nature reserve. 2 beautiful swimming pools. Location is very centrally in the Algarve. The villa is situated peacefully at the top of the botanic hill of Quinta da Saudade. Far from the road and very quiet. The villa has a large (60m2) and private roof top terrace with BBQ, lounge set, sun beds and a dining table. The terrace is partially shaded and has full privacy. The villa also has a balcony. Many guests return over and over again. The Quinta da Saudade is an authentic and charming former farm estate with some 25 holiday villas on a hill. The Quinta is reviewed by many guests as an authentic delight and quite unique. It has beautifully kept gardens full of palm, almond, olive and orange trees. An oasis of relaxation with 2 splendid pools, a kids pool and play ground, tennis court, mini golf, table-tennis, petanque, horse riding and an excellent restaurant with summer pool bar. The popular Salgados golf course is close. The beach Praia grande de Pera is also on walking distance (20 min). It is a magnificent long gold sandy stretch from Gale to Armacao de Pera. The large beach has quiet areas even in mid summer. There are also numerous small beaches throughout the area. The riding stables at the Quinta has fabulous horses that can be taken out for gallops across the dunes or slow trips through the country side. The Quinta is a 12 min. drive from the old town of Albufeira. 45 min. drive from Faro airport. While enjoying relaxation at the Quinta you are very centrally situated in the Algarve near the most beautiful beaches and cosy towns and villages. Also the rough west coast and eastern Algarve are within a one hour drive. A great combination for a fantastic holiday.

Casa Bela Vista has 2 well sized bed rooms with high quality beds and 2 modern bath rooms. Master bedroom with king size bed. Second bedroom with 2 box single beds. The living room has a balcony and well equipped kitchen with dish washer. The villa has Airco, heating for winters, high speed Wifi and Smart TV with a Bluetooth audio system, that can be wirelessly connected to your mobile phones, tablets or laptops. Satellite TV for reception of many European channels.

Please note, for bookings from October through to March inclusive: electricity and if needed wood logs is to be paid separately.

For bookings from 1 May to end of October the check-in and check-out day is default on Saturdays. For longer stays we can be flexible. Please send us a message for possibilities.

Very Relaxing

We had a very good time. The apartment is calm with many features like two bathrooms, BBQ and juice squeezer and has an amazing rooftop terrace). Within the lovely complex you can find everything you need (swimming pools, restaurant, tennis court etc.) and it is possible to go horse riding. The good thing is, that the complex is well equipped but neither posh nor mainstream. John is a very friendly and responsive host. So is the staff. The next beach was our favourite and is only a few minutes drive away. Behind the beach is a protected lake with many birds to watch.

Fabulous

We had a fantastic week away here at Casa Bella Vista. The Villa was decorated beautifully to a high standard with two terraces. The roof terrace was amazing with great views overlooking hills and down below the stables. It was a very big space with a beautiful tiled built in table and bench under shade, another table looking over the beautiful hills, a large corner seating area as well and a lovely built in barbeque. We loved the terrace off the lounge area, which was again a spacious area where we sat in the evenings with music on and a glass of Portuguese fabulous wine. We had the best week here we can’t fault anything and have to say the host was incredibly helpful from when we booked right the way through to when we arrived home. We are looking forward to going back to this villa. It was a wonderful break.

Hello, I am John Coumans. We are Dutch owners. We fell in love with the Quinta da Saudade 15 years ago and had many very relaxing as well as active holidays. In 2018 we could buy Casa Pura Vida and in 2022 we were able to buy the next door Casa Bela Vista, which we refurbished quite a bit early 2023.

Why they chose this property

We own 2 houses next to each other, Casa Bela Vista and Casa Pura Vida. We love to come out to the Algarve with friends and families so having the 2 houses next to each other gives us lovely opportunities. When we are not here, we rent out the villas for guests, who love it and are very often returning.

What makes this property unique

Both Casa Pura Vida and Casa Bela Vista are high upon the hill with a lot of privacy. The best view and most quiet on the Quinta and a both have a stunning roof terrace. The location is amazing. Stunning views over the ocean and in a lovely setting with beautiful gardens and nice pools. A place to create beautiful memories.
