The Space:

You’ll enjoy modern decor, updated furniture, and plenty of seating for the entire gang. The living room has a wood burning fireplace to cozy up on those chilly nights. There’s a 55” Roku TV in the living room for all of your streaming needs. Pac Man and Golden Tee arcade will provide hours of fun for all ages. A fully stocked kitchen, perfect for preparing your favorite recipes. Plenty of seating options, inside and out, for gathering with your group. Upstairs there are books and board games for the whole family to enjoy. The second-floor bedroom has a desk for remote work or taking a call. Located in the Woods Resort you’ll have access to golf, swimming, hot tub, tennis, pickleball, basketball, gym, and so much more. A great option for your family, friends or small group to get away for a little rejuvenation and relaxation!

- WiFi strong enough for streaming movies and taking video calls

- Smart TV for logging into your favorite streaming service

- Washer and Dryer to clean up after a long day

- Multiple hiking trails nearby. Our favorite is Tuscarora!

Our cabin is located in The Woods Resort, a private community with an 18-hole golf course (with low green fees), spa, a restaurant and pub, and miles of walking/hiking trails. It’s considered the best course in the area, and the pub food is pretty great too!



During your stay, you'll have access to the members-only Sports Center, the perfect option for a wintery or rainy day (and just a 5 minute walk from the cabin). The Sports Center includes:



- Indoor heated swimming pool

- Large whirlpool

- Tennis court

- Racquetball court

- Multi-purpose court for volleyball and basketball

- Fully equipped exercise room with free-weights and many workout machines



The Sports Center is members-only, but we’ve set aside complimentary guest passes just for you! Passes will be available at the property—check the house manual for details on where to find them. If you need more during your stay, simply reach out and we’ll be happy to assist.



Pet-Friendly

Bring your furry friends! We love hosting families and well-behaved dogs! For allergy and maintenance reasons, we’re unfortunately unable to host cats.



Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!

1. The Woods Golf Course (distance from house - 5 minutes): Renowned for “fun and fair” golf, the 18-hole championship Mountain View course is perfect for low handicappers and the Stony Lick mid-length course for the rest of us!



2. The Old Roman Bathhouse (distance from house - 30 minutes): Home to a mineral spa that has been in use since colonial times, the park’s Old Roman and Main bathhouses offer a wide selection of spa services, including massages, saunas, baths and showers.



3. Cacapon Resort State Park (distance from house - 40 minutes): Offers hiking, fishing, and golfing, with beautiful views and various trails.



4. Berkeley Springs State Park (distance from house - 25 minutes): Known for its natural mineral springs and spa services, it's a lovely spot for relaxation.



5. Spring Valley Farmers Market (distance from house - 15 minutes): Stock up on local produce and baked goods



6. Black Draft Farm & Distillery (distance from house - 25 minutes): Near the farmers market, and the perfect spot for a drink!



7. Rumsey Monument: (distance from house - 50 minutes)A historic monument located in nearby Shepherdstown, commemorating General Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson.



8. Antietam National Battlefield (distance from house - 50 minutes): Just a short drive away, it's a significant Civil War site with walking trails and informative exhibits.
