The Snow Flower condominiums are located at the base of world class skiing, hiking, & mountain biking at the Steamboat Ski Resort. The Snow Flower is Steamboat's best kept secret as the location is prime, one of the closest condo complexes to the mountain base area. This 1,050 square feet condo is situated on the ground floor, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A short walk or elevator ride takes you directly to Steamboat's base area - Gondola Square. Take the 4 minute (or less) walk and you arrive at the Wild Blue Gondola or the original Gondola terminal. Base area includes shops, and restaurants, and an ice rink in the winter. Summers are spectacular; hike, bike, or take a scenic gondola ride. The Snow Flower condos are located across the street from The Wild Plum - a small grocery/coffee/ wine bar/ liquor store and restaurants for your convenience. This property has mountain and ski resort views, underground parking, elevator, year- round heated pool and hot tub, grills, and community coin-op laundry. Bedroom configuration:
Master bedroom - King size bed. Dresser & Smart TV with bathroom attached.

Second bedroom - 2 Extra long twin beds, can be made into a king bed. Bathroom outside of bedroom.

Living area - Brand new sectional couch with a queen sleeper sofa.

The kitchen is right off the entry and is fully equipped with all your cooking needs; toaster, blender, coffee maker, coffee grinder, hand mixer, crock pot and baking pans. The dining room seats six and the kitchen bar seats three. Smart TV, WiFi, board games, puzzles and books are organized in the living area. A sliding glass door leads you to a deck with glorious views of the ski mountain.

Self check-in instructions provided upon arrival, with front door and garage access via key pad. An elevator is located in the downstairs entry of the building at parking garage level, luggage carts are available. There are coin-operated washers & dryers located next to the elevator, downstairs. A grocery cart is available for shopping at The Wild Plum Grocer - eatery & wine bar, located across the street from the Snow Flower in the Highmark building. Apres Burger Bistro, (also serving pizza) is located across the street from the condo. Truffle Pig, a fine dining restaurant is a few steps away as are Cafe Diva, The Paramount, Los Locos, and Slopeside Grill. The Range is Steamboat Ski Resorts newest dining option at the base, offering a variety of dining options.

Relax in the year round heated pool and hot tub after a fun day on the mountain or around town. Enjoy the outdoor fireplace area complete with bbq grill and a large grass (or snow) yard for games. A centrally located common room in the lobby can be a nice spot to retreat to, with a fireplace, TV, computer and hot beverages in the winter.

No car, no worries. A short walk takes you to the Steamboat Ski Resort Gondolas and base area, which host a variety of restaurants and shops. Also the FREE Steamboat Springs city bus stop is located just outside the Snow Flower. Enjoy quick and easy access to shopping or dining downtown on the free bus.

Multiple ski shops are located within walking distance to the condo; Christy Sports, Fleischer Sport and Steamboat Rentals Gondola Square. Ski Haus and Steamboat Ski & Bike Kare offer delivery.

Perfect location, great place!

This place is managed by real people (not a property management company) It has real furniture and the kitchen is well stocked with good silverware and cookware. It is minutes away from the gondola and we couldn't have asked for a better, nicer place to stay. I highly recommend.

Wonderful Condo and Stay

This was such a great condo, better than expected. The hosts were so helpful when we wanted to check in early. They were so nice and answered any questions in timely manner. We loved the layout of condo and the location could not be better- our 3 year old could walk with his boots on right to Wild Blue Gondola. We hope to stay here again.

Property has everything you need to have an easy stay near the resort. Easy 2 minute walk to the gondola, plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Amenities were as stated. I would recommend for a hassle free trip.

Was a perfect stay for some skiing between Christmas and New Years'. Super convenient 5 minute walk to the gondola, rentals, and mountain village restaurants. Great (if overpriced) gourmet market and liquor store on the corner, but easy access to the larger grocery store as well. New appliances, comfy bedding/towels, really great place, thanks!

A Steamboat Getaway Awaits

The standout feature of this condo is it's location and walking-distance proximity to the base area. I enjoyed the layout of the unit, and the mountain view from the terrace was gorgeous. New appliances in the kitchen were a joy to cook with. The room was clean enough and no-frills rather than luxurious. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Check in was easy and unit was as described Note: if you are in shower and someone flushes toilet the cold water goes away. We would have appreciated a few more washcloths as only one per guests was provided for a five night stay. The code quit working it took two hours but the host was quick to respond. Unit was great location, very clean and host were quick to respond to questions.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We were blessed with a wonderful snowy weekend. The accommodations were cozy and the perfect size. We really appreciated the instant FIRE in the fireplace! The condo is extremely convenient (short walk) to the Gondola, to the buses to/from town, and to the Wild Plum mart that has everything one might need from breakfast through late nite. The unit is quite spacious, has the shortest walk to the gondola of any unit in the condo complex, everything worked, it was clean, there was easy access to indoor parking on the ground floor, and we used the hot tub and pool after skiing every day. This will definitely be our first choice of accommodation when we return to ski at Steamboat. The snow was great too during our visit. Such a good trip.

Great setup, Rick was awesome

Stayed at Rick's place mid-week for winter mountain activities, and it did not disappoint. As others have mentioned, it is about a 3 minute walk to gondola square, so the convenience was quite good. Since some of the previous reviews, he has done some nice upgrades to the place, and we felt it was a very good value based on this and the location. We had a minor issue with the fireplace, and Rick came over quickly to resolve the problem (and we got to meet him in person). Overall, a very good experience, and I would definitely stay there again!

Great location, skimpy on the amenities.

The location was awesome to walk to the gondola, the place was clean. Compared to all my other VRBO experiences, I was disappointed though. The lack of amenities made it less comfortable. There were not enough towels, no paper towels, no bath mats, a loud drippy shower, and a lack of little things, like hand soap. It was fine for the weekend, but I won't be staying here in the future.

What makes this property unique

The pool and hot tub are located outside and are open year round! The pool is heated, take advantage of it in winter or summer!
