We loved our time at Rockaway Beach. The location was wonderful as you could walk right out the back door and enjoy the beach or walk out the front door and enjoy the sweet town. It was comfortable and clean. The host was kind and communicative. Thank you!

This is a lovely home very close to the beach with wonderful views. It’s easily within walking distance to a variety of stores and restaurants in town. The amenities were great and the beds very comfortable. Cara is a communicative host and the home has a number of personal touches. One drawback is an inability to control the thermostat and screenless windows, so the upper level was quite warm. Opening the sliding doors invited in flies. The kitchen could benefit from some new frying pans. We enjoyed our stay very much!

I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay! I wish you would have let me know about the temperature. We, like most homes on the Oregon coast, don’t have AC. We rely on the cool ocean breezes which are plentiful 😊 we also have fans in each of the bedrooms. Most people worry about opening the windows and doors without screens but for some reason flies and what not are never a problem. We have a full supply of stainless steel pans but every time we try to put nonstick in the home they are quickly ruined.

You'll love your stay here! House has all of the amenities, is very clean, updated, and well organized. We enjoyed quiet evening on the deck watching the ocean and sky. Stores were a short walk away. Host was friendly and responsive. We lived the easy beach access. I highly recommend this location!

Great house, great location. Owners provided many amenities and extras for a comfortable stay. Close to great beaches and fun hikes.
Short Sand Beach, a few miles away. A short hike through a forest opening up to a beautiful sandy beach, popular with surfers.

Lovely location

We had a wonderful stay! The beach was a short walk away and the views from the balcony were beautiful. Well-stocked throughout the house and the hosts provide a detailed informational binder for the home, local amenities, and things to do.

Fun location, right on the beach. Comfy beds, super well stocked and supplied. Definitely a premium price and a bigger check-out chore list than I see in many luxury listings--but it was nice to have everything we needed at our fingertips, and our kids' excited shrieks to head out the backdoor and be right on the beach was magical.
