Beautiful, just upgraded english basement apartment in Capitol Hill. 6 blocks from the Capitol and Library of congress, 4 parks within 1 block of the property, and metro stop 3 blocks away. Walk to the national mall, Smithsonians, National Gallery of Art, Botanical Garden (all free!) in 20-30 minutes. Barracks Row with restaurants and shops is 6 blocks away. Navy Yard, Southeat and Southwestern waterfront business districts are 15 and 30 min walk respectively. 4 restaurants with Michelin stars within walking distance!

Apartment has a W/D in unit, a full bathroom, bedroom with queen Casper mattress, and a brand new wood-look tile floor. Huge livingroom/dining area with full sized windows (rare for a basement apartment!) Private entry with unique key code access. Kitchen uses a countertop oven and induction stovetop, (compatible cookware comes with the unit). Note on photos- we have not had professional pictures taken since the renovation, so all photos that show a red vinyl floor are representative and show the space but the floor has been upgraded and the unit repainted, and a full coffee table and chair have been added; Any pictures with the grey floor are current and show the space as is.

Could not have been better, Communication was fantastic, place was great and super close to the capital, a park, and Whole Foods. Will absolutely stay here again next time in DC.

Beautiful accomodations, easy access to capitol hill.

My husband and I had a great experience during our first stay in DC, and Anna made us feel so welcome! This is the perfect location to stay, if you're looking to tour the main attractions in DC; easy access to the metro, charming neighborhood and beautiful accomodations!!

Great space!

This was a perfect fit for my friend and I who prefer buying groceries to limit eating out every night (Whole Foods is a quick 8-10 min walk through a park and a little convenience store around the corner). It had everything we needed, and Anna is attentive and quick to respond. Cozy, bright, and clean and close to the main attractions we wanted to visit!

Great Neighborhood

We loved our stay in DC. We had business at the Capitol building which is very close. We met up with friends across town which was easy to do on the Metro as the Capitol South Station is nearby. The property manager is friendly and helpful, it was clean and check in/out was easy. We would stay again.
