The cabin exceeded our expectations. The kitchen especially was way above any typical rental house. It was more like a familyā€™s permanent residential home. It was extremely well equipped with modern appliances and richly stocked with spices and dry ingredients (but donā€™t count on it).We used the outdoor grill which was clean and ready for use.The wifi worked flawlessly, and water were hot.We had bears and deers visitations in front of the big living room windows. We parked 2 vans easily.Highly recommended

First the good: excellent communication from the host throughout the whole process. Location is also excellent - in the park, but not in the middle of the chaotic traffic of Yosemite Valley. The not so good: the ice maker in the fridge was initially full of ice, but did not make any more ice. I noticed the ice maker mentioned in previous reviews. The host did tell us about a separate icemaker up in the cabinet which got us through the rest of our stay. It makes very small batches rather quickly, but you have to be present to empty the small receptacle so it will make more. That was fine while we were in the home. The bigger inconvenience was the laundry washer was not working, which we didnā€™t discover until late on our last night. We ended up having to leave with soaking wet unwashed laundry (wouldnā€™t spin) and had to stop at a laundromat in our way to Sequoia. Once these two issues are resolved, I do recommend the place due to location & communication.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in Yosemite West. The hosts were incredibly communicative and always responded promptly to any questions we had, which made everything feel easy and stress-free.The check-in and check-out process was seamless and efficient, and we really appreciated that there werenā€™t excessive ā€œcleaningā€ expectations placed on guests. That said, we did our best to keep the space tidyā€”it was far too beautiful not to treat with care! The home itself is stunning and perfectly located, inside the park yet far enough from the busy areas to feel peaceful and relaxing. It was a great balance. One of our favorite features was the game garage. It was great for the child in our group, and we (the young adults!) had a lot of fun playing ping pong as well. The house was exceptionally clean and made us feel comfortable right away. The oversized dining table was perfect for our group of seven, with plenty of room to spare. The furniture throughout the home was unique and aesthetically pleasing, while still being very comfortable to relax on.The kitchen was impressive fully stocked with just about everything you could need. We especially appreciated the labeled cabinets, the air fryer, and the Keurig stocked with coffee for guests (such a thoughtful touch!). Thereā€™s also a standard coffee pot if you prefer.Overall, we truly wish we had more time to stay. We would absolutely book this property again if we return to the area!

This is a nice property. The interior was clean, kitchen was well appointed, beds were comfortable, there is a 'game' room in the garage for entertainment, however it can only be accessed through an exterior garage door. We arrived when it has snowed recently, so unable to really see the outside deck or use the BBQ. The stairs to the house entry were covered with ice. Wish if could have been shoveled off before arriving. Ended up doing it ourselves, as we did not want to carry luggage up slippery stairs. The Property Manager was reasonably accessible for questions/concerns. Overall a nice property and would stay there again.

Highly recommend staying here. We stayed with 6 adults and 4 kids for a weekend in March. The house itself is extremely clean and well laid out with plenty of space for everyone. It comes with all the cooking amenities you could need. The host is very communicative and we had no issues while here. The house is inside Yosemite park so is very easy to explore the park and valley from. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Hereā€™s a polished, enthusiastic version you can post:Book this location ā€” you will not regret it!The cabin and views are absolutely amazing. Itā€™s beautifully maintained, well stocked, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Everything about the space made it easy to relax and enjoy our trip. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. The host and housekeeper had an incredibly fast response time and treated us better than weā€™ve ever been treated at a Vrbo. Our contact with them wasnā€™t even about the cabin ā€” it was due to weather and vehicle issues ā€” and they immediately stepped up and went above and beyond any expectations. They truly saved our vacation.Jimmy and Maria are as amazing as Yosemite National Park itself. If weā€™re lucky enough to return, we will 100% book this place again!

We wanted to love the place and it has many nice elements but we were seriously disappointed by a couple items-1)the layout- the ā€œgame roomā€ is set up in the garage and is only accessible via the garage door and not inside the house , which is not practicable in cold weather and felt like an after thought despite being promoted as a key feature. We paid a premium and the house itself is clean and nicely stocked but this was disappointing. 2) Bugs. we spent the last night having to deal with almost a dozen wasps and yellow jackets that came into the house. Out whole family had to sleep downstairs because we found 4 wasps in the upstairs bathroom alone. Itā€™s a generally nice place and the manager was relatively responsive but overall it was not what we expected.

Location, location, location. Yosemite West is right on the middle of Yosemite valley and Mariposa Grove. Glacier Point was close by so we drive up there twice. The house had a spacious kitchen, family room and dining area. We spent most of evening dinners on the side patio. After dusk you will need big spray. The kiddos like playing the games in the garage. The garage didnā€™t have entrance inside the house. You have to come thru the side or front door. So we didnā€™t feel comfortable leaving the youngsters down there by themselves. The master on the main floor was perfect for our family that had two little ones. The two bedrooms upstairs were comfy but we all had to take turns in the one bath upstairs. There is a loft with a pull out couch that would be ok for a teen. There is a closet but no privacy.
