We had an incredible stay at Northern Exposure Log Cabins and cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we booked, the communication was extraordinary. Every question was answered quickly and clearly, which made planning for a large group so much easier. The cabin itself is beautiful, with thoughtful finishes everywhere you look. It is truly designed for gathering. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out, relax, cook together, and still find quiet corners. The kitchen was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed. One of the sweetest touches was how dog friendly the property is. Not only are pups welcome, there was even a bed waiting for our pooch. That level of care meant so much.We visited in the winter and the location could not have been better. We filled our days with adventure at Dry Lake Loop, Kawishiwi Falls, events at the Ely Winter Festival, and a stop at Dorothy Molter Museum for root beer. Nights ended perfectly with sauna time, laughter, and watching wildlife wander through. Our deer visitors were definitely a highlight. If you are looking for a warm, welcoming, well appointed place to host a large group in the Ely area, this is it. We would come back in a heartbeat.
