Jay Peak offers some of the best skiing and riding New England has to offer with miles of gladed terrain, incredible natural snowfall and unmatched scenery. Jay is also perfect for families and for getting started, with a great ski school offering clinics for all disciplines and standards of skiing / riding and a new cross-country ski and snowshoe center.
The 2 brand new hotels at Jay provide several luxurious places to stop for anything from a quick bite or drink in the bar, to a luxury meal sourced from quality local produce.
Après ski - why not drop the kids off for a session in the new Ice Haus Arena which offers both figure skating and Stick & Puck sessions, while you enjoy a workout at the gym, or some relaxation time in the spa. Try keeping the family out of the Pump House - Jay's state of the art answer to a water park. Nowhere but Jay would create and design such a great spot for family and the kid in all of us alike!! Great for storm days and après ski alike - I can't get my kids out of there!!
Consider the beautiful fall foliage in late September, the award-winning Graham Cooke championship golf course within the resort and great hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horseback riding and swimming in the area, Jay Peak is a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts year-round.
Perfect for families and small groups alike. Strictly No pets, No smoking.

About the host
Hosted by Susie Townshend
My name is Susie Townshend and I started my business, Mountainside Treasures, in 2013. It is a small property management company that takes pride in renting well appointed vacation properties in ski towns. Being small ensures that we maintain an attentive service for both our guests and clients. Check out my web page (mountainsidetreasures) for more about me, my properties and what I can offer.
I am British born and bred and moved to the east coast US in 2005. I passionately skied for several years with my 4 children, in Jay Peak, Vermont, but after visiting Utah a couple of times, made the move to Park City in 2012. We adore the life here, summer and winter. Utah is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts and I am delighted to be able to share some of my family's passion with our guests. We would love to give recommendations of favorite places to visit, places to ski, places to bike and hike. We'd love to hear your stories too.

Why they chose this property
Jay Peak has the most snow and the best glades in the region. We love the mountain. The golf course is great and we love the wildness of the area. The condo's are of superb quality and provide us with a luxurious getaway from home in all seasons.
What makes this property unique
I love the fact that we can ski the back-country, snow shoe for miles through the woods, collect our milk fresh from the farm, see the maple syrup being produced, jump from 30ft rocks into local water holes in the summer and have access to awesome summer camps. The mountain resort is developing fast and bringing some exciting new additions, such as the ice arena which the kids all adore and the new water park, as well as the great dining opportunities and spa / gym opportunity.
