Cozy U.P. North Log Cabin: Off Trail 419, Mins to Pictured Rocks!

Pine Hill Cabin lies tucked away on a hill behind the city of Munising. A genuine locally sourced white pine log cabin, Pine Hill provides 4 BR/ 2 BA and nearly 2700 sf on 5 acres, close to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, sitting on Snowmobile/ATV trail 419, and ready to act as your basecamp for all the UP has to offer!

Spacious cabin and all the comforts of home, comfortably sleep 10-12 depending on configuration in Bunk Room, which is two Bunks featuring Twins over Queens. Basic amenities provided including linens and towels. Free access to washer/dryer lower level. Dishwasher, microwave, fridge, ice maker, stove, oven, toaster, blender, small bar nook. Portable AC Units in Bedrooms ONLY during summer months. WE DO NOT HAVE CENTRAL AIR, June to August each of the bedrooms has a portable window unit

10 Mins to Pictured Rocks National Park entrance. 5 Mins to downtown Munising/Harbor. 15 Mins to Christmas, and Casino. 25 Mins to Au-Train and Grand Marais. 45 Mins to Marquette. 1.5 Hours to Tahquamenon Falls. Ride out of driveway onto Trail 419, in the heart of Munising's Snowmobile/ATV Trail Network. Centrally located to all the things U.P.!

The BEST place to stay in Munising! Minutes from everything, yet feels like you’re secluded in your own personal oasis. Jay & Sarah have thought of everything - the decor, cleanliness & amenities made it feel like a home away from home. They’re so helpful & quick to answer any questions. Our stay at Pine Hill Cabin was amazing. Jay and Sarah are great hosts with many extra touches. Their home is cozy and welcoming. Kitchen very well stocked. Beds and all furniture comfortable. Excellent Stay

This was an excellent property. The cabin was perfect for our group with plenty of space and many conveniences. Our hosts were very thoughtful, accommodating, and attentive. Everything was clean and beautiful. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Getaway Cabin

The home was centrally located to all of our UP adventures and a great place to come back to after a full day in and around Lake Superior. It had everything we needed and was very well appointed. The travel guide was helpful and communication with Jay was fantastic.

Spacious and Comfy Munising Cabin

The Pine Hill Cabin was perfect for our winter family getaway. The home is close to town and Pictured Rocks, but offers a lot of quiet and privacy. The furnishings are very comfortable. The appliances are awesome, and the kitchen is well stocked. Our kids enjoyed eating and playing games at the huge table. The hosts were very helpful, and super responsive. We will stay here again.

Great Host! Great place to stay!

Jay and Sarah have a beautiful home with a great location to trails nearby. Close to Munising if you happen to need anything. They are also very attentive and responsive should anything come up during your stay! Definitely plan to book again!

Great spot for a sled trip

Met some family from out of state that hasn’t rode the UP before. Found this place and quickly reserved it and it did not disappoint! It’s secluded to feel like you’re in your own world but close enough if you needed to run into town it’s close by. The trails were 1/2 mile or so from the house with an easy on off access. If you like to stay in munising then this is a great place to stay.

Great UP HQ

Property was clean, came as advertised, and was well thought out (down to the digital guidebook). It served as a phenomenal place to gather for food and sleep before heading out for hikes, photography, kayaking, and golf in the UP. Munising serves as a great gateway to Lake Superior and the heart of the UP and this was a great place to stay and spend time with friends in between adventures.

Pure Michigan fabulous rental

Amazing amenities everything we needed for a sisters week. Fabulous fire pit with plenty of star gazing. The heated floors were an added bonus. Kitchen had everything we needed as we love cooking together. Super close to Munsing and The Pictured Rocks National Park. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts responded quickly to all our questions. Rent this place for your getaway,you won’t be disappointed.

Great place to explore the UP

What a beautiful home to feel comfortable in while exploring the UP! Everything was very clean and well maintained and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The kids loved the extra outdoor space to run and play in. They have the best equipped kitchen we have ever had in a VRBO. We had no complaints and a great experience.

Great Cabin close to downtown Munising

This property was just perfect! It was in a great location just outside of downtown Munising and it was cozy and clean. We were two families with parents and kids ages 10-16 and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our time at the cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and Sarah and Jay were great communicators. It you love Munising as much as we do, I would highly recommend staying at Pine Hill. You won't regret it!

Perfect winter family getaway! ❄️

What a wonderful cabin! Absolutely perfect for our family, and for enjoying the beauty of the U.P. in winter. We loved the fireplace/living area, and the fire pit out back. Lots of things to do indoors and out. And the property was very clean. The owners were also very gracious, working with us as we encountered some winter weather the day of the trip. Great communication all around. We hope to be back soon!

We love the U.P., and were married on Mackinac Island. Took our 'Mini' honeymoon along the Superior Lakeshore and fell in love with Munising. It was our dream to have a cabin here so we could enjoy the area, Pictured Rocks, and have some space to roam in the beautiful Michigan Upper Peninsula. Our kids love it too! We love sharing our basecamp and encourage others to experience the beauty of the UP, Pictured Rocks, and surrounding areas...

Nearly 5 acres, locally sourced White Pine logs milled in Munising. Quiet and private neighborhood with room to roam, great park-like views any season. Custom Munising Made Oak Cabinetry. The night sky viewing is second to none (minor light pollution from Munising, but still fantastic). Country setting in a fantastic location. Proximity to Pictured Rocks, snowmobile/ATV trail system, Seney Wildlife Refuge, Au-Train Beach, Grand Marais...the location really is ideal for not being directly on the water.
