Announcing the Lake Lucerne Treehouse Cabin! This charming log cabin sits at treetop level with a view across Lake Lucerne. It has one bedroom, incredible views, amazing natural light, and fantastic windows throughout the cabin. You truly get the feeling you are sleeping in the woods. The quaint L-shaped living and dining area is furnished with craftsman-style decor. It has a full kitchen, complete with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower with a standard-size tub. Outside is a large deck. The west end of the deck overlooks Lake Lucerne, while the large deck area on the east side features a table and chairs. This provides the perfect area for dining outside while enjoying the views. Even though this cabin feels secluded in the woods, you still have functional features such as cable TV and WiFi.
You will find that there are many attractions and excellent dining options in Eureka Springs. This cabin is only two and a half miles from downtown Eureka Springs. Or you might as well visit the lake! According to an 1892 publication, Lake Lucerne is a natural spring-fed lake. The original lake was dammed by a natural ledge of rock, the water eventually eroded through the rock and dropped the lake level. The natural dam was repaired and built up to the point that the lake was 20' deep in some places.
This cabin features the original interior and exterior features that made this resort picturesque at the time it was developed. It truly feels like you are stepping back in time to a gone-by era of luxury log cabins.

We really enjoyed staying for our anniversary getaway. The cabin reminds me of something out of a book. It is just an adorable little cabin!

Thanks for the great review! It always amazes me how Lake Lucerne seems to be a world away and a step back in time, but it is actually less than 2 miles from town and has all the modern amenities. Thanks for staying. See you next trip.
Excellent location for someone wanting to spend time in Eureka Springs but stay somewhere peaceful and quiet.

It was okay, but I would have preferred it to be a bit cleaner.

Cabin was not clean! Contacted guest services more than once and was told someone would call or come by which never happened and we were there 4 days. Had to go buy cleaning products to clean somewhat. Very disappointed

Great getaway. Relaxing, quiet and well-equipped
Very nice escape with my wife for a couple nights. Close to town put feels far away from the bustle. House was cozy and had everything we needed. Enjoyed watching wildlife from the great porch.

Cute and Cozy!
This place is absolutely perfect for two people. Loved the kitschy details and the log cabin look, and it was nice having a modern bathroom and working kitchen. It was a bit too chilly and overcast during our visit to take much advantage of the porch, but we loved listening to the geese flying overhead and the rustle of the wind through what was left of the leaves on the trees. Next time, we're coming a few weeks earlier so we can catch fall at the peak. It was very peaceful, and exactly what we needed.

Thanks for the great review. It was a perfect weekend to hide-away in the cabin! See you next fall. By the way, the Peak of fall foliage occurs between the 20th of October and the 10th of November. Depends on the weather.

Thank you for your review, Gale. We sincerely apologize for any cleanliness concerns and problems with our amenities during your stay. We are disappointed to hear that your recent experience was not satisfactory. Your comment has been forwarded to the local managers so that they can work to improve the house for future guests. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon. Thank you for staying with us!
We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary at your cabin. There were 2 downsides. 1. was the mattress and pillows. The mattress was not comfortable and my husband kept rolling to the middle, the pillows were completely flat and left a crick in the neck every morning. 2. The curtains would not wide enough to close completely for privacy and darkness in the morning. Otherwise great cabin and everything else we needed.

Thanks for the review and suggestions! We will check the pillows and mattress. The natural light is the amazing part of these cabins! I'm not sure we would be able to achieve a dark room. We might suggest a sleeping mask, although, it seems that most travelers like to watch the wildlife from the bed in the mornings.

We were scheduled to stay at Lake Lucerne but do to poor communication we were moved to Ozark Spring
We were moved to to Ozark springs due to reservation foul ups on VRBO behalf . Bad Idea ! Cabin was nice inside but outside not , view was rocks on one side and trees on the other . if your going to advertise mountain views you should probably make sure there is one . Probably should work on communication on that end as well since this was the weak point . Most likely won't use VRBO again

This guest requested a date change. The original cabin was not available for the new dates, therefore, the guest indicated that they desired to be moved to the Ozark Spring Cabins Unit. The views there are wooded and the cabins are next to an amazing limestone bluff; providing a majestic backdrop. The woodland setting is high on the hillside as pictured online and detailed in the listing. We take photos that are specific to each cabin to make sure the guest's expectations are met. (I don't think this was VRBO's fault.)

The cabin itself was nice but over rated.
If u don't mind putting up with mice and I mean plenty of them, they got in our food, bread that was on table. Our tooth brushes had rat poop all around them. When u put your towel on floor from showering, bc there was no hamper there was rat poop all over them, beside the couch was plenty of droppings, we kept counters clean, but next morning rat poop all around the cabints, very disgusting. The lake we were staying by was covered in murk. U couldn't even look out and enjoy that. I'm just sorry I wasted money on my one vacation for anniversary. I even think the mice were in our bed, at night. They do make rat poison and traps for these nuisance. And u can tell they been there a while, very dissatisfied.

Future travelers reading this - please contact a property owner/manager when you encounter a problem. It is unfortunate that this guest was disappointed in their vacation when we could have easily moved them to a different cabin. This review is the first time that we have heard of a problem at this property. Although, it is a historic cabin in the woods, therefore, I'm sure a determined mouse could make his way in. As you can see from the reviews leading up to this, there hasn't been an issue.
Regardless, we have brought in a professional exterminator to make sure there will not be future issues.

Eh
Location was hard to find at first. Called the number we were given and the guys was extremely rude and cussing at me. 100% will not go back all because of that experience. Aside from that person everything else was fun but sadly that phone call kind of ruined our experience

Too Expensive!
This property was not too bad until you added all the cleaning fees and taxes. The fees were more than one night of staying here. The cleaning fee was expensive and you had to do the dishes you dirtied, take out the trash and several other things. Typically I would do them anyway… but they charge you for a cleaning fee… not sure what they are doing since there was a distinct odor and cob webs on the Ceiling and door frames. There were also 3 large spiders that we killed! If you stay here make sure you follow the instructions and not the Google coordinates. It was kinda hard to find if you just use gps.
My daughter and I spent 2 days. She loved it. We had a nice time and loved that we could do all our eating at the cabin. Grills out on porch and full kitchen made it easy.
Lake Lucerne TreeHouse Cabin was all we wanted it to be...Clean, Quiet, Comfortable, Adequate Provisions except for towels and wash clothes in Bath.
We would return!
Nice place to stay if you are heading to Eureka. Beautiful Cabin. Clean and nice amenities. Close to all town but still back in the woods. We enjoyed it alot.
