Amazing Layout! Alamodome & 5min to Riverwalk & family friendly

The Garden Oasis is a place for family and friends to come together and enjoy all San Antonio has to offer. We have created a space for you to relax and enjoy time together. Some of our stand out features include our beautiful air purifying plants throughout the house, an art area to tap into your creativity and a beautifully designed raised patio that gives skyline views of Downtown.

The space
We have a great layout to host large groups. The living room, large 3rd bedroom, lower patio and elevated patio offer a lot of different options to hang out with your group. Our house is unique in that all ages and occasions enjoy booking the house. We book up very quickly with any event at the Alamodome (.2 miles from the house).

Neighborhood Description:
The Garden Oasis is a 5 min drive to the River Walk and several other highly rated San Antonio attractions. There are views of the Alamodome and Tower of the Americas. In Downtown San Antonio you will find a mixture of houses that have been renovated, older homes and abandoned homes. The majority of homes in the area are fully gated. We have wonderful neighbors who are friendly and welcoming. The close proximity allows you to easily use uber or drive around Downtown. If you are looking for a quiet suburb, we recommend you looking outside of Downtown San Antonio. We are located on a main road that leads into the Riverwalk and traffic noise and trains can be heard throughout the day and night. We provide earplugs & sound machines for those who would like them!

This house truly made our girls’ trip! We felt safe and secure with the locking gate, and the location was incredibly convenient with easy access to Lyft and Uber, as well as close proximity to the Riverwalk and Alamodome. The host had the home well-stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The layout was great for our group, and we especially loved the porch—it was the perfect spot to relax and chat in the evenings. Highly recommend!

Host was welcoming, house was in fantastic shape and it was so cozy. Only slight bump was there was a gym amenity listed and that was meant to only be yoga mats, but after talking with the host it was cleared up and removed from the listing. Very close to the Henry B. Gonzalez center and the Alamodome, highly recommend!

We stayed here for a mother daughter trip. The inside of the house was beautiful and well decorated. Plenty of bed options and we were very comfortable. It is a short drive to the attractions. The snacks, water and soda that were available when we checked in were great! It was a good place to stay.

Booked a one night stay for a concert at Alamodome with two other couples. The house was very convenient to the venue. Host did a wonderful job with communication and accommodation. The house was very well stocked. Check in and out were super simple and everything was very clean. Would 100% stay here again.

Close to Alamodome but no one was able to sleep

The property is very clean, modernized and well stocked - just as described. Appreciate the cold water bottles provided. However, the trains 2 blocks over run all night and blare their whistles. Even with ear plugs, it was so loud, it kept everyone awake. Tried to use the outdoor space which was very nice, but the noise made it unpleasant. Cars drove by with radios blaring, the neighbor had his stereo so loud we could hear it inside the house. The traffic along Iowa Street was high, and lights from cars and police vehicles also made it hard to sleep. One night, the motion detector outside kept triggering. We’ve stayed at vrbo properties that were a little loud or in crowded downtowns but this was by far the worst. Another issue is if you like very soft mattresses, this would have been great. I think there must be toppers of some sort. For us, the beds were very uncomfortable. We would never stay there again. It was hard to enjoy the event or the property with the constant noise and lack of sleep.

My family and I were in town to celebrate the graduation of my daughter from UTSA. The location was close to the Alamodome and perfect for this occasion. The hosts were outstandingly accommodating when we asked for an earlier check-in time and if we could have family and friends over after the graduation for lunch. The house was big enough for everyone to be comfortable. I can't recommend this house and host enough. Even friends and family kept commenting on how much they loved it.
